- Welcome to my HSC 4 Unit maths: Complex Numbers series. In this video, we see how to find the square roots of complex numbers, which will be useful for solving quadratics with complex coefficients.
This was probably the most helpful video i’ve watched. Easy to understand and straight to the point. Thank you so much.
This is the first video I watched that is related to finding the square root of complex number and I fell so confident and this was so helpful.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR".
sir the video was very helpful please keep posting
Thank you so much! You've helped me a lot in understanding the thing. Covering further maths sometimes can be a little tricky, but thanks to you now I got it. Many thanks!❤
I was 8 when this video came out and now it has saved me a lot of trouble. Thanks heaps
You are good at explaining..... Tnx🤗
Gonna help in tommorow exam..that i'm going take!!
Why you took only x^2-9^2 term after Factorization?
dope vid, cheers!
THANK YOU BRO ,,,THE MOSQUITO THO HAHA QUITE FUNNY NICE BRO
Thank you sir your video helping me. And you explain clearly
Thank you! Saving four marks because of you!
Props to the fly for makin it into the video
Thank you very much...this video was very helpful for my study
Glad it was helpful!
Ty.. It is very helpful for me
Better than the eg in my math book
Thank You So much!!!
Thankyou very much!
Excellent explanation
Thank you very much
Nice explanation sir 😀😀😊😊
Great Math Problem
Perfectly done
thank you really helpfull
Very Helpful video
Nice explanation
Sir, I have my final tomorrow and you just saved my a$$
Very Nice!
This is so helpful thank you
... this video was uploaded 9 years ago... I just hope that the mosquito is still alive 💓💓💞💞
i did it.
thank you
Thnxx sir..
Thank you
I wanted to ask that we had our no. In simple form then why did we took root of that no in step 1
z is the required thing . ie root of that's
❤️❤️
You've made sense
You can also use the general formula for the square root of a complex number:

Very nice helpful vedio
Thanks bro
well explained
Thanks
very helpful
After an hour I will be in my examination hall and now I am seeing this😅😂
... the mosquito loves Calculus 💝💝
i got it!!!! 💖💖💖
Keep going
thanks bro
Tq soo much
Thank you for your support💪
Why don't we look at the Complex solutions xD We started with a complex number anyway lol (although if we'd do this our result of + or - (3+2i) is the solution for both cases (x^2)-9=0 and (x^2)+4=0
How i square is -1 sir can u explain this
Hey man why did you say 4 would not be a real number but -9 would?
When -9 is brought to the other side of the equation, it becomes+9. +4 becomes -4. The square root of -4 is under root 4i which is again a complex number. But here x is real....so
I got it 😌😌
Do you really understand it?
God bless
The complex numbers not conjugate to each other ?
it has opposite sign no need of conjugate
is this high school level math or collage level math in the states?
it's high school level, hsc is the exam new south wale uses for uni entrance
Awesome sir
why does x=+/- 3? why not +/- 2?
Because it can't be √-4
Because x is real part of z and √-4 = 2i
Please help me calculate this
Given that (√3-i) is a square root of the equation Z^9+16(1+i)z^3+a+ib=0
What is the value of a and b?
a=5, b=23
Polar form of complex number new video please.
trick sort nahi hai sir
why you didnt took( x^2-4=0)
It is x^2 + 4=0 not minus. We wouldve considered it if it was x^2-4=0
Catilin Watson because we have to find the factors of -36 not +36
Thanks I
Why did not you solve for (x^2+4)?
When we solve (x^2+4)=0 , we get x=2i and x=-2i. BUT x has to be a real number, so we don't take those cases.
@@MathemaEducation why do we get 2i? How do I know which bracket gives an imaginary number?
@@dylansimpson2322 the one with the negative number should give you the imaginary number. Since we know that square roots of negative numbers cant be real, it must be imaginary.
why you didn't take 6 and -6 instead of 4 and -9??
Because -6 and 6 don't add to give -5, but -9 and 4 do.
What A foolish question this is the question for those students who are in class 7th or below
@@savitasingh467 u dont have to be rude mr perfect
If only you are wise
Why should you insult the other
Tssswwwwwwww
Mathematics
Hey sir solve this problem problem 2(1-squareroot of 3 I)
U r foreigner? Not Indiana
There isn't mosquitoes in India only! Haha
When your question is 5-12i...
say proper 😈
مـنو عرآقي🙂😂😂😂😂😂
احم
Video is helpful but video is not clear🙏🚩🇮🇳
The actual answer is +{3+4i}
-{3+4i}
Trying squaring your answers and see if you get 5+12i
Thank you very much
