As a vikings fan, my man is slightly delusional, no offense
This is very likely a 6-10 to 8-9 season
Yup and I’m all for it, get one last top pick and get that Kirk money off the books and go all in 2025
As a Vikings fan i think we're gettin 2 more wins, 12 win season baby MINIMUM
No offense? What🤣🤣🤣
Before I hit the comments that’s exactly what I said “this guy is delusional” and I’m a lifelong Vikings fan. Decent stretch in the middle where we can right the ship but we start tough and end tough.
Yes, exactly. Excited for the future for sure, a lot to be hopeful about, but us as fans shouldn't expect much this year. A massive win for the season would be seeing good flashes of QB play from our rookie, or him having the ability to sit and develop and look good behind the scenes. Also extending JJ at some point lol
I was 10-7 on the Vikings and a wildcard spot. I knocked them down to 8-9 after the schedule release.
They face a lot of older QBs who will be going against a very fast and non-stop edge rush rotation, and a lot of young QBs to face the confusing Flores defence. I think folks are really underestimating the complete re-working of the Vikes defence by Flores.
They have one of the easiest in the league?

@@Zoyxlmfao nah don’t be bias. Green Bay has the 4th toughest schedule. Y’all ain’t used to winning like us

Packers fan here and i believe the Vikings season could be really good or average. I think they will be a competitive team. They could have a defense that is solid with a good coordinator. Offense has all the weapons to be successful other than QB. However Darnold could be better with these weapons and McCarthy could be really good. I think ultimately there shortcoming will be the QB tho. NFC North is truly exciting this year
I put the packers in an easy 4th place this year. Love is whack, Jacobs is whack, doubs is whack, Matt LeFraud is a fraud. Defense is whack, kickers are whack. OLine? Whack. Packer fans? Also whack
This is Darnol last chance to show his not a backup quarterback, or he is going to be a journeyman for the rest of his career. The table is set, is an all-you-can-eat buffet with the Vikings the best team he has been in the helm as a starting QB!
Not the best. Vikings are forever trash.
That wasnt Anders that was Sam Darnold
😂
They’re gonna take a step back before they take a step forward. I don’t expect much from this season. It’s all about getting McCarthy set up to be successful. I wouldn’t mind seeing him sit for most of the season.
This up coming season is a huge mystery mainly because of the QB questions … if Sam Darnold is solid the Vikings could very well win 10 games. The D is very good under Flores and the offense can be explosive I’d Darnold plays well. I personally don’t think we see much of JJ in year 1.
Same.
6-10 to 8-9 sounds about right
no chance winning 10 games, more like 7-10, which is okay for this season.
Hahahahahaha
6 and a half minutes of Rich talking about the Vikings? That’s how you know it’s a slow offseason news week
hahaha
As bad as them talking about the Jets
IDK, they're kind of interesting. Really talented offensive pieces. Possibly an upgraded defense, and some real action at QB. There are teams with less going on that get more attention
People forget that the Vikings have improved their defense from last year. They may be a top 10 defense this year. May win a lot of 10-7 games. I actually think they have a shot. The key is if they can have a better running game.
I'd argue the key is the turnovers. The running game would help of course but the Vikings killed themselves so many times last season with turnovers and especially turnovers in scoring territory.
National media certainly loved talking about JJ Mac. before the draft. Now that he’s with the Vikings? Crickets…
Thank you Rich for acknowledging this.
The Vikings are my team - I got them winning maybe 5 games (NYG, JAC, TEN, CHI, ARI ). If they struggle a bit - they only beat the Titans and maybe Arizona. I think their schedule is tougher than most people think.
There your team I think not let me guess your a fair weather fan
@@edwardschepp3782 definitely a fan - I just don't view the team through rose-colored glasses. Which teams do you have them losing to?
I see 14 wins
@@Tiredashelljoe107 Who do you have the Vikings losing to?

I think the best case scenario for the Vikings is that they make the playoffs as the fourth best team in their division. I know it's pretty nuts to imagine a division with all four making it but if there were ever a division that could do it, it's this one. I only really see their losses coming from in division, niners, falcons, and maybe give em one more against the jets or something. And they'll win some of those division games somehow or another. 10-7 is absolutely doable for this team and if they get lucky with some tie breaks and injuries, they could make the playoffs. A lot rests on the QBs though, they just have to be decent, like 6 or 7/10.

Mahomes played at the Bills in the 2023 playoffs. Mahomes passer rating 131; Allen passer rating 86. Look at the "big armed" quarterbacks on your list - no Super Bowl champions until Mahomes at 55mph. Worthless stat.
I'm a simple man. What makes Rich Eisen great to me is that his voice sounds like Anthony Bourdain.
Looks a lot like 5-12.. 7 wins would be a successful season!
Cousins will not be benched he’s never deserved that in his career. Take Kirk in Dallas right now
What u gonna do with Dak? Is Dak really that whack?
7-10. Dude we are not beating the niners nor the packers away. Etc
I honestly hate as a Vikings fan that there is a real path to being 9-8 and as usual being not good, but good enough to not get good draft position next year. We need defensive talent, I want us to trade Jettas asap and get some skill on the other side of the ball and roll with Addison, Hockenson and build back with a rookie rb and a free agent wr next offseason, maybe trade jet and grab one of the free agent wideouts available now as a strong get for JJ to learn from being around and help Addison also?
You hate the Vikings.
Draft position is a dumb reason to want your team to lose more.
Vikes will be bottom 3 team. In nfl. Ez
Bears record depends on how well Williams plays. Lions it’s their division to lose and Vikings just has to play defense all year while playing conservative on offense.
1. Lions
2. Packers
3. Bears
4. Vikings
That’s super whack brah
Hmmm NFC North. Stranger things have happened. And no doubt will.

The sad part is that these are probably the most rational Vikings fans
Bears ain't gonna be that good. The Jets are gonna have a Green Bay regular season so there's a loss. It's all gonna come down to B-Flo and the D, the O will be just fine! (Unless Darnold starts seeing Ghosts again!!!)
Fans are hilarious - they're the worst at talking about the teams they're fans of. Brockman's team, for instance. Nathan Rourke should have been given the starting job, moving forward....but he's gone and now they may as well start Drake Maye. I think Jacoby Brissett is pretty underrated but I don't think it will be of any benefit for him to start ahead of Maye.
Does he mean after they get rid of JJ after like 2-3 years
What JJ u talkin?
Did this guy forget who he is evaluating?
Vikes start 0-3 but McCarthy beats GB in his 1st game.
Darnold balls out this season, leaves in FA with mega deal
I can’t tell if the guy on the phone stifling a laugh as he’s saying “win” lol. Some pretty delusional wins in there as things stand now
Why? Coming off a 13-4 season last time they had a healthy viable QB.
Let’s go 12-5 baby skol prove all these haters wrong. It sucks when most of the hate comes from your own fan base, do you guys even pay attention to the offseason? The current state of the roster? The depth at basically every position with one of the top coaching staffs in the league? Nah say what you want the Vikings are gonna run the division for a decade

Darnold spreading the ball to Jettas, Addison, Hockenson and Aaron Jones just like he was taught when deputising for Purdy in SF.

Vikings aren’t winning more than 8 games😂
McCarthy is whack and darnold is whacker. 4 wins
0-9 to start, McCarthy starts against Tennessee
Terrible interior O and D line. There is no depth at any position. Worst GM I have ever seen. Go way under the 6.5 win total.
Every fan thinks their team going 10-7 at a minimum
Patriots fans think they are going 16-1 when they are really going to go 0-17
So this genius has the Vikinings getting swept by the Lions and losing to the Bears at home but beating them away... Ok
Losing twice to the kittens is blasphemous 👿

That is one delusional vikings fan
I think we go 12-5 because of our defense and offense benefits. Our defense will be top 10 easy. Right or wrong, I want this reposted. SKOL4LIFE
Vikings have no shot of winning the division
What to expect this year? The same thing as every year. Somewhere between 7-10 and 10-7, possibly a Wild Card birth, and absolutely 0% chance of actually doing anything in the playoffs. In other words, not good enough to win, not bad enough to get a transformational draft pick. Rinse and repeat.
2022 13-4
2023 4-4 when QB 1 goes down.
I guess we don't count those in the "every year" philosophy.
I guess we also think KOC, Flores and Kwesi are the same as Zimmer and Spielman.
I guess Darrisaw, Jefferson (Turner, JJ, Addison) are not transformational draft picks.
Vikings won't win more than 6 games. They'll be lucky to win that many.
It's delusional to think that the Vikings will beat the Jets lol
10-7 is very wishful thinking lmao they’re like a 7-10 team at best
I count 3 wins giants, cardinals, and MAYBE titans. 3-14
Lmao so you definitely don't know ball. 😂😂😂@@MUTV2
Are you assuming that Rodgers lasts 5 weeks instead of 5 snaps? I think Rodgers is about 1-4 in his last 5 games vs the Vikes. It might be wise not to get too overconfident.
I think the Vikings win 7-8 games, but 10 or even 11 is certainly a possibility; it’s just that a looooooot has to go right for that to happen.
Less might have to go right than you think. Vikings biggest problem last season was turnovers. There's questions at QB but I really feel they'll be able to move the ball on offense given we saw Nick Mullens throw for 400 yards in a game last season in this system. Eliminate the turnovers, especially turnovers when in scoring range, and it could be night and day compared to last year
@@blargy7283 That’s true, but Darnold has been turnover prone his career to this point as well. I agree the offense will be moving the ball.🏈
JJ is not a good QB.
Vikings are about to be 5-12 lmfao
I want to know just how bad Ander's concussion is.... There's no way Vikings go 10/7. I say max wins are 7/8, and I like the Vikings
My Vikes are not going to miss D. Hunter at all! Between free agency and the draft we have a few younger, faster studs to make up for Hunter...Don't think losing Cousins is gonna matter much either...I hope...lol I like 12-5 winning the North. Our D is gonna be tough. Our O is gonna be top 7....SKOL.
Will miss KC especially early in season. Last 25 third downs passes KC completed 21. That’s the best he has played the question is how much of that was due to KOC?
Get out of here!
This vikings fan is on crack
Beating the Rams and losing to the Jags?? Nah lol. Rams will slump the Vikings.
Omg this guy is off by a few games 😂 they’ll lose both games to the Lions and possibly the Packers. Bears don’t play any NFC North opponents until the last half of the season. There’s a possibility they lose both of those as well. But hell I could be the dumbass here 😂🤷🏻♂️
Lions swept Nick Mullens last season so that's something, then got beaten up by the Packers and Bears. Why is everyone so high on the Lions after one 12-5 season, and drop the Vikes after a 13-4 season.
How do you think the Lions would have gone last season if they had lost Goff in week 8???
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Vikings won’t win 7 games lol.
10-7 sounds just about right.
