Pyro, Just something fun,... I took a 3 in cut off wheel, on a angle grinder, and went around the outside top of the barrel JUST underneath the , top Ring. I only, barely, cut through the first layer of tin on the outside. This left me with a removable top, that I could place right back on the barrel. It worked like the newer can openers that cut the OUTSIDE layer of tin, This makes it possible to put the top right back on. Hint,....when grinding just the out side layer of tin, as you getting close to cutting through the first layer, the metal starts turning blue as the metal gets thinner. ( So as to not cut into the second, Or, Inside layer of tin ) Yes, it leaves the top edge of the barrel a bit flimsy, when the top is off, BUT, the top fits right back onto the barrel and wedges IN, pretty tight. Actually I used this Technic to make a , 30 gal, Barrel " Rocket Stove " Heater. Attach 4, over center locks to hold the top down, very tight !!!
I would like to see the other side not just the blade. More information on the adjustment of the knob. You placed it to quick, would like to have seen when you have issues with blade not go over the lip.
