oh, the East Coast… Spoiled to spend more time on the Gulf coast. But know some people in that area. Seems like a nice area and a double wide for $55k- hey, that is less than most new cars today!!

My wife and I are going to spend one more winter in Alaska and then buy a winter place there. We have family on Merritt Island so we will be in that area. I don’t know about financing these places but we don’t have a mortgage and own a duplex and a remote cabin where we live. We want to be in a gated community for security while we are gone.
The 60-65 population is larger than the four five year age groups starting at 40. There are going to be a lot of these places available in a few years as there will be fewer people retiring there.
Are these properties in age restricted communities? 55 and up? Thanks
