They need to take another look at the Broadway access from US60 going westbound just past Priest Dr. The road sign doesn't even pop up till you are almost on top of it for the exit when it comes to the traffic it creates. There is not enough of a heads up for drivers about the lane and where to be. Its a ONE LANE bottleneck backing up to Mill Ave exit by 7am weekdays. Cars forcing themselves into the lane when they see the slightest gap along with high risk road rage opportunities. Enough crashes have been happening there due to overly aggressive pushing into that far right lane even past the Gorge zone. Several trying to get into the Broadway access lane are using it as a bypass from the traffic on I-10 since taking the Broadway Access Rd will allow drivers to re-enter I-10 just past 40th St. Now the 52nd St exit on the Broadway access lanes is backing up on the few lanes of the access Rd WITH NO PULL OFF for any kind of crash incident. I understand this is a work in progress, but unless there are plans to make the Broadway access lane a 2 lane entry, this is going to be an ongoing serious SAFETY issue.
Yes this was a big project so 4 years is acceptable. I want to know why the 1/2 mile stretch of road from 48th Street south of Baseline to the Point round-a-bout has been under construction for more than 5 years. Really??? It's 1/2 of a mile.
thanks for covering this. it'd be great if you can also highlight the cost of these projects; this was $1,000,000,000 (1 billion) alone
It's absolutely ridiculous and you can't get anywhere anymore. They're crippling the state with all this bs.

New signage will be added.

I liked Tucson pre 1970. Too much concrete and asphalt now.
Bro only like 5 people lived in Tucson in 1970
Dude, you need to read a book.
There was over 300K people riding horses with buggy carriages around Tucson back then.
