serving 4 to 6 people
ತೊಗರಿ ಬೇಳೆ / toor dal - 1/2 cup
ಅಕ್ಕಿ / raw rice - 1/2 cup
( rice and dal in equal proportion is gives the best taste )
ಬಿಸಿಬೇಳೆಬಾತ್ ಪುಡಿ / bisibele bath powder - 1.5 to 2 tbsp
ಹುಣಸೇ ಹಣ್ಣು / tamarind - amla size
ನವಿಲು ( ಗಡ್ಡೆ) ಕೋಸು / knol khol - 1
ಕ್ಯಾರೆಟ್ / carrot - 1
ಹುರುಳಿ ಕಾಯಿ / beans - 7 to 8
( don't add too much vegetables )
ಹಸಿ ಬಟಾಣಿ / green peas - 1 cup
ದಪ್ಪ ಮೆಣಸಿನಕಾಯಿ / capsicum - 1/2
ಟೊಮೆಟೊ / tomato - 1
ಹೂಕೋಸು / cauliflower - little
ಗೋಡಂಬಿ / cashews - little ( 3 tbsp )
ತುರಿದ ಒಣ ಕೊಬ್ಬರಿ / grated dry coconut - 1/2 cup
ಉಪ್ಪು / salt - as per taste
ಬೆಲ್ಲ / jaggery - 1 tbsp
ಇಂಗು / hing - a chickpea size or 1/4 tsp of powder hing
ಎಣ್ಣೆ /oil - 2 tbsp
ತುಪ್ಪ / ghee - 2 tbsp
ಅರಿಶಿಣ ಪುಡಿ / turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
ಒಣ ಮೆಣಸು / dry chilli for seasoning - 4
ಕರಿಬೇವು / curry leaves - 2 strip
ಕೊತ್ತಂಬರಿ ಸೊಪ್ಪು / coriander leaves - little
1 ಕ್ಕೆ 6 ನೀರು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬೇಕು ( ಆರಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ )
( add 1: 6 ratio of water with rice and dal )
