Such a great idea! So much cleaner and easier than cement! I'm wondering if I could knead in some sort of strengthening agent to make it waterproof. I made cement ones but waterproof paint peeled over time.
Hi, I'm not aware of anything to add to this clay, but it is sort of plasticized after it dries, so there's that. I know this clay can be painted, and they also have white. I have never painted anything for water or for outside, but I know FolkArt make exteriors paint (if you want in small amounts) and there's water resistant sprays, so you can have fun experimenting! I just would make the shapes thicker than what I did. Keep me posted!
Awesome! So realistic! I've been wanting to make a water fountain with cascading leaves...I guess paint this with some kind of enamel paint to waterproof?
I'm sure the clay can be painted, and just make sure it says "water p[roof" or give it a coat of some water proof spray after you paint. Let me know how it goes!
I guess you are asking about the clay? It is hard and I guess it is strong but not as concrete. It is very light! 💚 Thanks for visiting Lorraine Martinez ! 🌱 🌷 👍
so gorgeous. So I made mine and the shape turned out beautiful. So I painted it. Looked so nice, but when I pick it up it broke. Have I missed a step in how to harden it? I had let it dry for several days.
Oh no! Was it too thin? I cannot imagine why it broke besides that reason. Sorry to hear that! The air dry clay is supposed to be a bit flexible and very durable!
Let me know in the comments if you'd like to see another casting with a different material! ♥
Where would I find that clay.
@@smargo7884 I bought it at Michaels, but hobby lobby has it too. If you like shopping online, I have a link in the description 😄
Yes!
@@LKaye-yg4cw Thanks for visiting!
wow... I love that. My elephant ears are ready and now I need some clay. Thanks for the inspiration.

Beautiful and great work! Dear friend..
Thanks for the visit! 😊👍
It’s beautiful!
Thank you so much 😊👍
That is gorgeous! I’ve been wanting to do a leaf piece, but kept thinking I had to use concrete. I’ll be using clay now. Thank you!😊
Do it! I love this clay, very easy and light. But I might try the concrete too later lol
Nice thing about leaves, they are all different.
Very true! And all so beautiful 💚 Thanks for visiting!

@@TheLivingBackyard I was wondering if it was too thin too, but it looked as thin as yours. I will be trying again :)
😍

Thank you!
Could
Have molded it over sand.
Yes, but I wanted to work indoors, without a mess 😅😬🍃
