I love NEXON but if I were to choose between NEXON and KAYLAQ I will always go for KYLAQ. a SUB 4 METER car has no use of 360 camera. It was always meant to be a feature for big proper SUVs like Endavour or Fortuner and If top spec of KYLAQ comes in 15lakh its not bad for a VW group car plus I dont think any other brand has that competitive price for its top spec. Even Nexon top model goes beyond 15.5.

Once my EcoSport completes its 10-12 year run, I think I’ve found my next go-to car! It captures the same solid build quality and reliability that I’ve come to love in my EcoSport. Also, it will be interesting to see how VW's parallel model compares as well.

I hope they don't cut down on features in lower models. This particular model is filled with features and won't cost less than 14 lacs. But once you cross 11-12 lacs then you have got much larger pool of cars to choose from, not necessarily a sub 4 metre SUV.

This has an even bigger boot storage, better headrests, better driving dynamics like skoda and ford gives, and an insane torque for the size of the car. Top-end ka pricing acha hona chaiye. It must be within 13 Lakhs on-road in Bangalore pricing for it to succeed. Plus uska light throw must be good. Vikas bhai, Can you compare this and Kiger Turbo CVT variant pls! 🙏🙏🙏. I miss the driving dynamics of ford, kiger feels much like a toy to drive in that comparison. Too soft to handle unlike the figo in comparison. I had figo 1.4 TDCI and now we have ecosport diesel manual and petrol automatic. It's difficult to find replacement car. Ford is always top interms of build and driving dynamics

Once upon a time we had affordable safer cars less than 5-6Lkhs for base variant - Fiat Punto, Skoda Fabia, VW Polo, Ford Freestyle, Fiat Linea and more few years back itself with decent safety & 2 airbags in higher varient.. Lower variants had strong build.

It offers the same cramped legroom comfort as Venue & Sonet. Rest all in the Sub 4 Mts C-SUV segment offers far better Rear Seat legroom & headroom comfort.. Alongwith KYLAQ will have to compete against 4 Engines - 1.2 NA, 1.2 Turbo, 1.0 Turbo, 1.5 Diesal & 5 - Gearbox - MT, iMT, AMT, Torque Converter(TC) & DCT Options. So its not going to be a easy or cakewalk for Skoda KYLAQ. But KYLAQ might Sell 5-6,000 Units (optimistic) per month for initially for 6-12 months thereafter stabilise to around 3-3,500 Units per month. As it's going canabalise Kushaqs Sales Nos.

I hv same 3cylinder 1.0 TSI (Turbo) & is super smooth to drive in another Skoda. In Kylaq this would feel more punchy. So, 3 cylinder wouldn't be a botheration at all.
Main thing is how tight they can keep top end price , because no use of base model price 😂. , top end must come within 11 lakh than this will be grobally hit all our india , because brezza also a very good , they must keep very less than brezza
Hi, I am planning to buy a sub 4 meter car , is this a better option than nexon, breeza and 3xo. I would keep it for 10 years , my travel is 50 % in city and 50 % in highway mostly long drives 400 to 500 kma in a day. I was opting for nexon or breeza but now kylak is here so pls guide me. do keep in mind servi e cost and spare part cost
I think 3xo is still better than this with more features and premium-ness. Also i hope this does not happen but VW/Skoda can also leave India like ford if they don’t do business well, already VW is suffering globally. Just sharing my opinion.
nonway underpowered on hills, have taken Taigun to steep hills with 4 people and luggage. It just climbs effortlessly. Take AT gearbox, that is what i drove
Im planning buy new car in jan 2025. now im confuse between magnite turbo and Kaylaq . Magnite having very good rear space. But skoda kushaq rear seat not comfortable for 3 adults . So might be kaylaq will be tight space for 3 adults at rear.

Skoda have launched their compact segment in sensible pricing range...and certainly it will be potential game changer to existing brands in compact segment., in addition they should introduce 1.2 or 1.5 TSI turbocharge engine option too..then surely it will give tough stand to many other rival brands.
You don't need a 1.2 tgdi in a sub 4 metre it's too much powerful for that vw 1.0 tsi produce more power figures then rivals What we should ask for is a dca automatic rather then torque converter and a strong hybrid
Quiet impressed with KYLAQ. Except they have used too much of plastic all around the exterior. Making height look less than competition. Should have offered Rear Sliding Seat & Tiltable back. At the same time 60:40 Split seat from Base variant. Pricing is good. Hope they offer at least 5-6 variants & reduce the price gaps between variants & load features accordingly. Sunroof should be offered as optional from middle to the top variant. Skoda has atlast positioned it to perfection in the Sub 4 Mts C-SUV segment for 4 passenger. Kushaq 1.0 TSI days are over unless customer wants more legroom at the rear.

Skoda and VW should avoid Touch panel for AC controls instead they should give physical buttons which makes the driver convenient to use because touch sensitive panels creates distraction especially while driving

The best thing is no connected tail lamps. Design wise most practical balanced aesthetic and well thought out car of its segment. Kudos to Škoda🎉

11:00 it’s not a dq250 it’s a Toyota sourced Torque converter gearbox. Dq250 is a wet clutch DSG gearbox.
It’s AQ250, and that’s exactly what I have said in the video too.
Definitely offered good and practical things and targeted real Indian customers 👍😊

Its really a great great car by Skoda - engine, built quality, feel everything is good about but there's one thing to it - does the rear parking camera appear on applying reverse gear coz I didn't see it appearing in one of the reviews

What's your expectation with 3 cylinder engine? The car looks good.
I hv same 3cylinder 1.0 TSI (Turbo) & is super smooth to drive in another Skoda.
In Kylaq this would feel more punchy. So, 3 cylinder wouldn't be a botheration at all.
Main thing is how tight they can keep top end price , because no use of base model price 😂. , top end must come within 11 lakh than this will be grobally hit all our india , because brezza also a very good , they must keep very less than brezza

Hi, I am planning to buy a sub 4 meter car , is this a better option than nexon, breeza and 3xo. I would keep it for 10 years , my travel is 50 % in city and 50 % in highway mostly long drives 400 to 500 kma in a day. I was opting for nexon or breeza but now kylak is here so pls guide me. do keep in mind servi e cost and spare part cost

I think 3xo is still better than this with more features and premium-ness. Also i hope this does not happen but VW/Skoda can also leave India like ford if they don’t do business well, already VW is suffering globally. Just sharing my opinion.
In Features perspective , it cannot beat XUV 3XO... Yet to check a variant which costs similar to 3XO AX5 variant

nonway underpowered on hills, have taken Taigun to steep hills with 4 people and luggage. It just climbs effortlessly. Take AT gearbox, that is what i drove

Magnite having very good rear space. But skoda kushaq rear seat not comfortable for 3 adults . So might be kaylaq will be tight space for 3 adults at rear.

It’s a straight Brezza, Nexon rival, the wheelbase is longer than both.
Skoda have launched their compact segment in sensible pricing range...and certainly it will be potential game changer
to existing brands in compact segment., in addition they should introduce 1.2 or 1.5 TSI turbocharge engine option too..then surely it will give tough stand to many other rival brands.
You don't need a 1.2 tgdi in a sub 4 metre it's too much powerful for that vw 1.0 tsi produce more power figures then rivals
What we should ask for is a dca automatic rather then torque converter and a strong hybrid

Quiet impressed with KYLAQ. Except they have used too much of plastic all around the exterior. Making height look less than competition. Should have offered Rear Sliding Seat & Tiltable back. At the same time 60:40 Split seat from Base variant.
Pricing is good. Hope they offer at least 5-6 variants & reduce the price gaps between variants & load features accordingly.
Sunroof should be offered as optional from middle to the top variant.
Skoda has atlast positioned it to perfection in the Sub 4 Mts C-SUV segment for 4 passenger.
Kushaq 1.0 TSI days are over unless customer wants more legroom at the rear.
till when we can except all variants details ???

Front design bold n good u dont have eye for aesthetics brother..while rear is lil off...every orther manufacturer put their money on features but skoda puts it on ride handling and engine..it can do 190 easy plus highly tunable 1.0tsi with stage one 30k u can get to 150 bhp 250 nm that make it poket rocket
Skoda and VW should avoid Touch panel for AC controls instead they should give physical buttons which makes the driver convenient to use because touch sensitive panels creates distraction especially while driving
