This revival got far less attention than it deserved I felt was a better cast/production compared to the more rent one with Kelsey Grammar and Douglas Hodges.
This look ok, but it makes it look more like Follie Bergere than a small drag class in St Tropez. The best production is still the Douglas Hodge one. Scaling down the show was the right thing to do.
It wasn't written to be a 'small" drag club in San Tropez, that was a concept in the 2010 production. The Original production in the 80's was incredibly extravagant.
