Dear Gary gave it all, he created many famous characters, seemed a joy to be with and I am so sorry he has passed away and clearly, no disrespect here just adoration he wasn't well here but still gave it everything, very moving, bravo.
Poor Gary. I loved him in the producers, beauty and the beast, and now this. He always exuded the spirit of Broadway and so sad we lost him so soon. Rip Gary Beach!
The worst part is is that this was only a year before he died. What a great man. He looked, no offense Gary but he looked terrible like he looks sick. I wonder what happened. I miss him every day.
You can see in this performance that he is a bit shaky but that makes it even more moving, looking back on his life and being proud of who he was and is. He was one of the greats for sure.

I was lucky enough to see him in the play” legends “ with Carol Channing and Mary Martin in 1986
and that is why he is great and will be remembered.
