    The Boston Red Sox have some of the best minor league baseball parks in the country, but none better than Polar Park, home of The Worcester Red Sox, The Red Sox Minor League Affiliates. Polar Park was recently ranked the #1 AAA stadium in the entire country and today we are headout to find out why. In today's video we are given a private tour of The Red Sox AAA park. We go behind the scenes with Brendan Black (Head of Production) to find out what makes Polar Park the #1 AAA Baseball Park in America.

    I loved this video. Its always cool to see what really goes on behind the scenes. Often we take that for granted but this shows you just how hard it really is. Id love more videos like this. To see the stadium in it entirety and really see what your getting before you go. Keep up the good work. Also i believe you said your girlfriend was doing the video, she did a great job as well

    I and my immediate family lived through the tornado of 1953 when my brothers and I were babies. My father and his brothers and sister, who all went to Clark University, were originally from Worcester and are now gone. We were all die hard Sox fans. To watch and listen to this video, Corbin, was magical for me ( I now live in Nairobi, Kenya). Thanks so much for hailing this great investment in the city of 7 hills. City Hall should construct a statue to Larry Luchino.

    Outstanding video.
    I haven’t had the opportunity to visit New England since the pandemic, so I’ve never had the pleasure of visiting Polar Park - having seen this tour, I’ll make it a priority to catch a WooSox game next time I visit.
    Clearly, this video is the next best thing to actually being at a game in Worcester.
    It’s fascinating to see how the magic happens: from the design & physical architecture of the ballpark, to hospitality and dining options and the media production facilities. Its all deeply impressive.
    It’s also wonderful to see how environmental issues have been prioritised throughout the organisation.
    Minor league baseball is the heart and soul of the game. It offers an affordable, grassroots and community-focused opportunity to interact with the organisation and see superstars just before they take the world by storm. It’s where dreams begin.
    Brendan is an excellent guide- he conveyed great knowledge and passion. With people like him around, then baseball is in safe hands.
    Thank you such much to the WooSox and all the Red Seat Radio team for this immersive experience. I’d love to see more material like this.
    Go WooSox!

    Great video of Polar Park ... Though I was very disappointed that this Red Sox AAA affiliate could not financially work things out in Pawtucket, I still have to give Larry Luchino credit for building a fan friendly first class facility in Worcester ... Unfortunately, "it's all about bucks" with professional baseball still remaining a business first and foremost ... I think Mr. Luchino along with his associate Janet Marie Smith should be inducted into Cooperstown for their outstanding contribution in leading the way to designing current ballparks that magnificently incorporate the "old into the new" ... What these two have accomplished at Camden Yards, Petco Park (San Diego), Fenway Park and now here at Polar Park is most worthy of HOF induction ...

      Because they didn't want the team in Pawtucket. They held all the best prospects in Double A for years and did nothing to help the park and the team. It was a historic Sox minor league city and fans. Those fans were forgotten and screwed over. Henry once again trying to keep things close by. They ruined the Paw Sox and all the history they had. This video made me sick seeing what the did there and never once did they try to help Pawtucket. In fact they did the opposite by destroying a institution just to get money back from land deals I'm sure. Lucchino did more to ruin the Sox than help. Don't praise that weasel.

    Boy you can see here the Sox really screwed over Pawtucket. They froze them out all just to give a better deal higher north. They held out players from triple A and kept them in double A to drain fan enthusiasm for Pawtucket. This place has a video wall and a spacious feel. They didn't help out Pawtucket and in fact drove the team from the area. Another reason to hate Henry. Once again southeastern Mass and SE New England gets forgotten by the Sox. What a screw job for Pawtucket. The Sox never helped that team. And it has more history than any other Sox minor league stadium will ever have. Fisk, Rice, Lynn, Boggs and many other Sox greats and near greats played in Pawtucket.

    • @willisapril
      @willisapril ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rhode Island had many oppertunities to keep them but passed. Don't blame the team its business and Massachusetts wanted them and has been trying to get them for over 40 years and it finally happened and Larry Lucchino is the majority owner not John Henry.

    • @TheEWFX29
      @TheEWFX29 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@willisapril Henry is the owner of the Boston Red Sox. They made the decisions. Pawtucket has been froze out of players for years. They didn't bring most of their prospects up to triple A for years saying double A was a better indicator. Pawtucket didn't get the stars or the fans in the end.. Henry's group got their way and Luciano ended up getting the triple A team in a final screw you to long time PawSox fans. Now look at the Sox being used to funnel money to Henry's other teams and not getting the money they make back. If it continues the Sox wont be worth anything but the stadium.Lucciano has been shit since he helped to get Theo Epstein out of Boston so he could keep his power.
