Yes definitely , I have a uncle like that ( my Uncle doesn't live like this guy but but when we get around a bonfire or some family event I love to just sit with them and listen to their stories of times long before I was born )
He wrote several books about his life and I believe he still runs a website selling his art. Not to hard to find more from him if you’d like too.

My best friend from 7 was a 80 year old Blacksmith. He had a extension cord ran from his sister's house 200 yards away. Had a refrigerator,b&w TV and a light. Had a hand pump well at a sink. Taught me plenty.

Im looking at doing this. Im near retirement and im alone. I don't want to be alone in the city waiting for death. I want to travel with my truck and camper along all the roads western Canada has to offer. Fishing and panning for gold. Winter time ill spend time in the warmer south. I believe it's great way to end ones time on this beautiful country. No nursing home for this guy. If i find a woman that will be a bonus.
Heck yea that's what i plan on doing im gonna get a travel van and wonder around as much as i can im more content being in the mountains/wood's fishing and hiking so I'll be just fine!!!👌

Miles Martin is a published author of I think eight books. He's not quite the guy he's trying to portray here. Very knowledgeable. Agree with him 100% on global warming-climate change.
Yes miles here. It is hard to sum up a life in a short, also I am not in charge, it is someone else's show with a desire to convey something maybe not with an agenda, but outsiders trying hard to enter another world and interpret it correctly for a specific audience. I'm busily living the life, with less time to market it. I have no TV, do not see any news kind of out of the loop. I have my books my art my own way to market and connect, but no, it is not exactly going viral. Gong for views, search words, correct internet adds is nor whar I know a lot about.

Cool video. Only critique is that the background music did not match the vibe at all. You have this friendly old quirky man showing you around, and it sounds like eerie, weird dystopian sci-fi music in the background.

Especially at Alaska prices. That boat tank of his is probably 20 gallons. At $5 a gallon that's a hundred bucks a fill up.
