I really appreciate the videos Jim. We seem to have the same interests in tree selection. Anyways keep up the good work. I’m really learning a lot here in Ohio..
Thank you, subscribed. I am in the position wher I would have to move two 1,5 feet big paw paw trees, they are in ground the third season. I will do like you did and hope it will survive, but have no clue how big and deep the roots would be. A friand is coming with the small digging maschine, so I taught it would be a good idea to dug around it with the maschine. Did you dig around with hands?
Going to attempt my first pawpaw crafts come next year from Two of the largest saplings I sowed a couple years ago from wild paws seeds with scions from a highly productive Pennsylvania golden I found just this year. Any advice for a novice attempting their first grafts ?
I'm in VA. I have recently planted pawpaws that are about two feet tall. Do you think they can survive full sun in the summer or do they need shade cloth for the first year or two?

@@MaekarManastorm study the grafts I've shared and make your decision. Grafting is easier than some may lead you to believe.

@@ronaldscruggs2699 they should handle the sun at that stage. Leave shade( if presently shaded) until right before breaking dormancy next season.
