Oleg, i'm shooting in s-log 3. I imported the TIFF into 3DL and used the color checker while in input/output S-log 3 mode. The LUT looks perfect in 3DL (1.5 delta), but once I bring the LUT into premiere via lumetri it adds a bunch of greenish compression to some of the shadows/midtones.. am I doing something wrong?? Thanks

FilmIn5D this might happen if you have some othet adjustments in premiere, and exported the still with them. if you dont digure it out, please send your clip to our support email and i'll try it myself.

How do you work out the RGB percentages from the colormetric info? Specifically for s-log 3? I do not have the colour checker information but I'm still hoping to use the s-log3 format. Thanks

    Oleg,
So when i export a lut after matching and import to my camera how do I ensure the correct input log. Once I set it and create the 3d lut is the same as exporting without the input log set to c-log? Im trying to create looks and load on my camera.

Hello! What kind of matching are you talking about? In latest version there are few methods for matching by color chart, some are suitable for working with the input log set, and some are capable of making conversion from any input data, without manually specifying the log type.
If you're making your LUTs to convert c-log to rec709, and going to apply them to c-log footage in the camera, then you should set input log to c-log. If the camera applies the lut to rec709 footage, then you don't need to set input log at all.

Thanks for the info you provide in the beginning of the video. Is there a way to create a custom Log curve if my camera's log is not in the dropdown list? I'll start shooting with V-log L for GH4 as soon as it is published. Any plans of adding it to the list?

+Joonas Tähtinen Hello! I added it today, along with V-Gamut from Panasonic references. It will be available in the next version (1.06) , that I hope to release within a week.

+Joonas Tähtinen Should I first linearize the contrast of the V-log l video with the curves tool like it would be rec.709 and then compline it to be applied to the start of the process?

+Joonas Tähtinen Yes, you can do this until I release the update.. X-Rite color checker though wouldn't give you the wide dynamic range for linearization, especially black point. DSC Labs checkers are much better for that. But still you can put the black point manually.
