The Right to Be an Introvert (Finland) - Radical Introverts & Extroverts

- Finland is the place where you can be an introvert pretty much anywhere and nobody is going to touch you in any way shape or form. You can dress simply, walk quietly, be in your mind and feel safe, especially in smaller cities. One quality that Finnish society has is that everybody minds their own business completely and they don't care about you unless you ask for help. It works for some, and does not work for others. But would it work for you?

I love that about Finland, that everybody minds their own business. In a good way. It doesn't mean that people wouldn't help you if needed, but it's more like you're only given the attention that is required to get you back, to be able to deal with balance, within a range. If you are too far off, then you'll be helped. There of course are downsides to this, when people happen to estimate wrong, but all in all it works well. You are allowed the freedom to be yourself and try to manage on your own. :) Points for mentioning MBTI (INFJ here.) (Needless to say, but also love the reference to Yoda.)
Or maybe… Finland! Silence is golden.
I'm from Spain, which is a very extrovert country, I've been always thinking that I'm an introvert and making efforts to be more extroverted, and now I think I'm more extroverted than some time ago, this helps me to have a better social life, although it's more confortable for me not making that effort, now I feel better.
Good video! Agreed, balance is needed in every aspect of life, even in talking. I feel like there is this big misconception in the world that the more you talk the better person you are.
New tourism slogan: Finland! The less said, the better.
Brilliant video again Edward, keep up the good work
You’re mostly right on what you’re saying but actually most of the people don’t want to be radical(as you described it). Some people just have disorders like social anxiety and it’s not easy to overcome it, so unfortunately most people just come to terms with it.
Excellent vidéo, Is there extraverts people in Finland ? Who like to be social ? KIITOS ☺️
Of course there are, like every other place! 😄 I would say, in a comfortable setting, everyone is an extravert, liking to discuss about topics and forget about anything else. I'd say the biggest difference is that the most extravert Finns that I know, who really get energized and talkative with people, when proposed a meeting, they say "but I hate people." It's so in the DNA or culture to prefer quiet and harmonious solitude, that it takes a nudge to remind how much they love being with people.
bro make another video already please its been 3 months
