    What's your favorite place to book flights and why? Let everyone know in the comments! ✈

    I think you nailed Skyscanner when you said one-way tickets. We almost always fly one way and so many platforms don’t book those tickets!

      Hey Kayla! Yeah, same with us, I can't remember the last time I booked a round trip ticket. Great hearing from you. I bet you know of plenty of other clever tips that I missed!

    Love Google flights. No loyalty to any specific airline so they aren't bias. I love the in depth analysis of kayak. Only have used them for car rentals. Will definitely check them out more. I was a Skyscanner guy...not anymore!! Thank you

      You’re very welcome! Yeah Kayak really surprised me to during my research!

    Nice to know these apps. Got many options to try, rather than the usual company website. Great video.

      Yeah, give them a try and let me know how it goes! 🤓

      @@ProjectUntethered Yes will try them on booking my next flight by July. Will update you how it goes. Thanks for your reply.

    With Skiplagging you CAN check luggage if it’s an international flight going to the US and your Skiplagged destination is your first US port of entry where you’ll have to gather your bags and clear customs anyway.

    • @ProjectUntethered
      @ProjectUntethered  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a very good point! Have you tried it before?

      @@ProjectUntethered my husband did recently. but he had only been away for 2 days so he didn't have any luggage anyway. but he could have...we can rarely do it because we are a family of 7 so that many pp not showing up would probably be a bigger problem...

      Yeah for sure that would be hard to fly under the radar!

    Agree w Hopper, they’re used to be great, can’t say that anymore 😢

      That said….. interesting, I just did a test and bought a flight through the Capital One Travel portal (to use a credit I had and earn extra miles), and I discovered that Capital One has partnered with Hopper. So that gives them a little credibility boost in my mind!

    I still like hopper. Don't think it's the best I'm just use to it I guess

    As a frequent flyer, how far in advance would you recommend booking flights? For example, I am thinking of traveling next April

    • @ProjectUntethered
      @ProjectUntethered  ปีที่แล้ว

      That can depend a bit on your destination and the season, but I talk about it in this vid! :-)

      @ProjectUntethered  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it can be very helpful sometimes to get transportation ideas! Although I’ve found it’s not always accurate

    Can't skiplagging get you banned from airlines?

    • @ProjectUntethered
      @ProjectUntethered  ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't abuse it, but I woldn't worry about doing it once or twice. From my research, it seems like the people that get in trouble are the people who have do it on the same airlines like 20+ times.

      What? I now have enough info to do my research. “Nearly zero” means you got something out of it. Maybe you already knew what he was discussing? 🤷🏼
