Thanks to you, I was able to get my certification today. Passed with a 679.
To anyone reading this; YOU WILL PASS! Just study and watch these videos!
Congrats 💪🏽
is this cert works just for 3 years , or for ever ???
@@thomas01charles67 currently it's good for 3 years or until CompTIA sets an expiration date (which they haven't as of yet)
@@TechGee oh thanks for replying, so I can have a long expiration date
@@thomas01charles67 This certification is considered Good-For-Life and never expires!
I had someone tell me ITF+ was a useless certification but I'm still moving forward with ITF+ because its Fundamentals for a reason and I think it still serves purpose especially when it comes to learning. Don't let no one discourage you!
Im a 20 year IT Professional and it is not useless because you gain information that will make you more confident in your IT Role. Learning in IT is never useless. Good choice!
More certs cant hurt ever to get a extra one. Plus this is good for life.
It is for you more so than employers.
It's definitely not useless. However, having passed the A+ exam myself after studying the fundamentals, I would say to anyone just starting out that you should study CompTIA Fundamentals, but don't bother with the exam. Once you feel you are comfortable with the knowledge in fundamentals, just move onto studying A+ and do the exam for that one when you are ready.
The fundamentals are pretty much covered again in A+ anyway so taking the fundamentals exam is pretty redundant. Save some money.
@@fsociety.dat101 That's my approach right now. Studying Fundamentals but preparing for the A +.
Thank you very much i only studied with this video and no other sources and i passed the exam🙏
Congrats 💪🏽
BS!
@@Infosec_Greg No it is possible, I passed my drivers permit by watching videos on Driving.
I'm hoping I can do the same thing my exam is tomorrow, alot of the information in the video is commonsense to me just the abbreviations for certain things get me and I still have a hard time with them.
@@Infosec_Greg all i used was TH-cam videos, don't get further scammed by comptia you're already paying too much for the exam.
I took this exam 30 minutes ago and I PASSED!! I only studied this video. You’re such a great teacher.
Thank you so much ! I know this certification isn’t much, but it does boost my confidence! Onto A+
Congrats 💪🏽
Congratulations champ, how was the exam objectives questions??
That’s the goal congratulations !
You're literally a great teacher I just failed my ITF, and got discourage multiple people on reddit recommended you, and after an hour of watching I finally understand the different notations! Took the exam this morning and I passed it on my first attempt ! I saw someone on reddit recommend this channel/video and I decided to give it a try. I am relatively new to IT and this video will definitely give you a solid foundation on various concepts, I learned a good amount of info. I'd recommend it to anybody looking for an intro to IT. Took me about a week to get through the full video and then a couple days of studying over my notes before I took the exam. Now, I'll be gearing up for the A+ cert. Thanks Tech Gee !!
Congrats 💪🏽
OMG! You are a life saver, I passed my ITF this morning thanks to you. Literally this video single handedly helped me pass my test. I have no IT experience or background and only watched this. Thank you so much

A mistake I noticed. The programming language “JavaScript” is not a scripting language it’s Interpreted and the COMPTIA trouble shoot steps are wrong but other than that great study material for the FCU-O61 for a passing score!
Just passed my exam with a 720 thanks to you! On to A+!

Just passed my exam last night! This video was such an excellent resource and far outshines many of the other free courses out there. It was a bit daunting for me choosing to switch careers from education to IT, but with help like this it doesn't seem like such a leap. Thank again, man!

How were you able to take the test?
Just passed today. Only used this video. Didn't even make it all the way through the video before I had to take my test. Got called into work too early to many times. @@tremitchell3681 I used Test Prep Training for practice tests
@@kenetrawoods3634 Oh ok im currently i see somepeople only used this video nothing else and they passed the real thing
Thank you Tech Gee. I just took and passed my CompTIA ITF+ exam. I used this study course along with ITproTV videos and Jon Tabor videos to study for the exam. ITproTV guys have good examples of concepts, however, they do tend to get off topic which drags out their videos. Jon Tabor's videos, I feel, scratch the surface of the content but are still informative, and Tech Gee's videos are right in between with good examples but also doesn't go too in depth.
Congrats 💪🏽
Congrats! How hard would you say the exam was? Did you take any practice exams?
@@omarlittle7686 Honestly, it was difficult, but as long as you have a good foundation of understanding of the concepts along with good memorization of the acronyms, you'll do great. I used ExamTopics practice exam. Once I was missing little to no questions on that, then I knew I was ready.
Just took my exam this morning, passed with a 702. All I did was watch this video and TJ Houston. You both are awesome; thank you so much! 🙏

I passed with 722, i know a fair amount of IT and i was baffled at how the teaching system is still designed to trick you and to make you fail the questions, very ambiguous questions that if you apply logic to them, you are going to be screwed.
Anyhow, next for me is the A+ certification and i hope is not as difficult.
Cheers!

NOT(apply_logic_to)?
Grateful for your course! I have been an IT Professional for 8 years and ITF+ should be marketed and sold to many Non-Tech IT folk.
I'm so excited for this video and the start of my tech career. I'm only 50 minutes in but your style of teaching mixed with your personality is such an enjoyable and informative combination. Thank you for putting so much time and effort into something immeasurably helpful. Cheers!

You're a champ teacher. I'm going to feel good after all this.
There's a uniquely human element that goes into IT support roles at every level--even if the ITF+ isn't a "lucrative" certification, there's immense value in being able to explain these fundamental concepts from a non-IT perspective.
Imagine having to explain to someone why their program isn't working--maybe they downloaded the 32-bit version instead of of 64-bit. The answer is obvious to people who work with computers, but you should be able to explain it in layman's terms.
32 bit programs work on all intel x86_64 chips tho.. lmfao
