Yo we have like same age and we both love computers how dope is that and also thinking it might be late yet better late than never I can tell you that.
Just to help people out - I finally passed my ITF+ cert. It was my “3rd time is the charm”. I have 0 previous IT experience. I recommend watching all of these videos 1x, then doing the study material from CompTIA (CertMaster). Their practice exam had a MASSIVE portion of actual test questions. I didn’t read the book either. From my exam attempts, there appear to be 2 variations of the exam. One is easy and the other is not. I was 3-5 questions off from passing both my first 2 attempts. I overstudied - if that even makes sense. I crammed studying 2 days before my first exam. 2nd exam I studied 11 hours straight and couldn’t even retain the questions because of how exhausted I was. My 3rd attempt I went over the practice test 2x, and studied not the answer, but how they got the answer. It will help you succeed! PS: I am the worst test taker, but I passed. I now know! Edit: I took all 3 attempts within 3 weeks. 1st and 2nd exam you don’t need to wait in between. The 3rd attempt, you have to wait 2 weeks.
Mrs. Wingham, If you don't mind my asking, did you take any practice exams prior to any of those two first exams? if you did, did you find any particular exam useful. Currently studying in CA. Thank you in advance.
I'm here in 2022. I'm on a journey to become a cybersecurity analyst. I was asked to start with network + but I wasn't really getting the grip so I decided to start from scratch and I stumbled upon your Playlist. The practice questions at the end of each chapter made me say this is it before I began studying. I just finished chapter 1 and I I got all practice questions. I like your method of teaching Thanks Jon for putting this together. I was about going through your page to see if you have other compTIA courses but I just read in previous comments that you are not planning on doing another course. It's so sad but I found Professor Messer. Hopefully when I'm done with the IT+ fundamentals, I'll be able to get a grip of things in Network +. I don't plan on writing for IT+ certification by the way

Hey. Just wanted to drop in and say I passed my Fundamentals exam after watching your videos. I watched your vids over the course of a week (Mon - Sun) transcribing as much useful info as possible. No IT experience but relatively familiar with computers. While 80% of it is common sense computer stuff, there was a very crispy 20% of new stuff I learned. Especially terminology etc. I do feel the coding and database sections were slim and tbh I still don't understand them very well. But it was more than enough to pass on short notice.
I have the CompTIA ITF 2nd Edition book-- no matter how many times I read it, the information was not sinking in. THANK YOU for posting these videos-- I am finally comprehending -- clearly this is more my learning style :) Well done and much appreciated!
thank you so much!!!! Today I passed!! first attempt, saw all your videos + udemy 19.99 course I strong recommend study a lot of Data base and troubleshooting methodology.
Thank you for making all this information available to us! I passed! To my fellow students currently studying, get those data bases, loops and coding down! I’m sad that people think this certification is so easy, it was not easy. Don’t underestimate it
Don’t bother. It’s not going to help you pass; it’s better to go and see Andrew from TIA on TH-cam for the ITF+ course. It’s an awesome course. I failed because of the content here, but Andrew helped me pass.

I'm wanting to swap careers and get into IT because my current career path sucks. I've always liked working with computers so I'm deciding to start here. I was wanting Comptia A+ but I feel like starting here would help me get a better grasp of what A+ and beyond has in store
Hi there, Just passed my Comptia ITF+ Exam with 727. Used some of your tips and review questions, watched your Videos, Tech Gee videos, A Course from Udemy and One good android app. My experience was, a lot of Sofware Developmet, Database fundamentals and Security questions. Not so much on other domains. Thank you for your help😊
Thank you so much Mr. Tabor for your time, skill, and willingness to do this for all of us. Are you planning on doing any more of the comptia certifications?
Did they update this? Because newer Macs have switched to intel cpus. Therefore you can now install and run windows natively on Mac’s with MAC Bootcamp. Helping you partition HD space for both OSs and install it
Why did you stop working on these courses Jon Tabor. Where is A+, Security, and Server, Cloud and the rest? Nice playlist that you have shared here. Thank you! I do hope you are doing well.
It really depends on the potential employers. Most will run a background check, especially if you're looking into local government or educational institutions.
Hey Mr. Tabor, I want to thank you so much for taking time out to do this class for people for free. Do you have any plans on doing any of the other classes that Comptia offers?
Well this video series is a good start. I would also look at Professor Messer's A+ training videos on youtube. Grab an old PC you may have laying around, or ask friends or family if they have one they don't want and use that to learn about PCs. From there, you can branch of into networking or any other IT topic that may be of interest to you.
@@JJFlores197are you working in the IT sector? @@IK7. Yes I'm an IT tech at a school district. I would say these are good videos to get a good foundation. I also recommend watching Professor Messer's videos on TH-cam. I also strongly recommend practicing on real computers. See if you have any old PCs laying around or ask friends or family if they have computers they don't want anymore and use them to learn. Watching training videos is good to learn the theory of things, but having hands-on experience is invaluable. And you don't need any fancy computers to learn.
