The rest of the video about my new RIDGID 2.0 Pro Gear System boxes. You can get these here: mavely.app.link/e/p8yUIASSHHb This is the Milwaukee Fold-Up Dolly / Hand Truck I mentioned: mavely.app.link/e/6RMWoYXSHHb Do you have these RIDGID tool boxes? What do you think?
I always found the little divider in the old box very useful, able to stand more stuff upright so you are not digging thru. I have mine set up where it is quite full but anything can be accessed without removing other tools/cases.
Feel like the Ridgid system is so underrated. Everyone hops on the Milwaukee system so there is a ton of aftermarket attachments. Ridgid is a little slow to come out with new stuff and sometimes things are almost impossible to find (the small clear parts boxes have been impossible to find for several months, but now avail on line). The large clear is usually available in store, and I like it, but it is sooo large and heavy, so the small is really nice for many applications. Just wish some of the people that make accessories, 3D printed stuff, for the Milwaukee, would do some stuff for the Ridgid as well.
That is my one big issue with Ridgid. It's like they are afraid to hurt their other brands by expanding Ridgid more. I want more Ridgid tools, not the sames ones redesigned over and over. If they don't have it in Ridgid, I look for Ryobi. If it's not made by Ryobi, I look at all the others.
Great video sir, you made a good point with the cart dolly idea. I bought the 2.0 system back in late 2023, was tired of working out of buckets and bags. The rolling cart was a game changer for long driveways and backyard work, the foot kick is much needed when you have that cart stacked up 4 or so feet lol. I know the weight limit specs for each box are in the manual somewhere. Just found out that ridgid released the 3 drawer box and looked up a review, gonna have to go get one now.. Cheers from Chicago
Excellent durable system, easy to stack and unstack to go up stairs or downstairs. I have both Rigid and the Husky Connect 22. The Husky smaller drawers and the canteliver unit are awesome ! You can get to your tools without unstacking the rolling set-up, except for the bottom rolling part needs better wheels maybe. Rigid just missed the mark when it comes to the drawers. They are just too heavy ! They should have made a smaller 2 drawer unit for your drill bits and accesories, miscellaneous so not to heavy ..🤥
After 7 months, still no issues? Ridgid is seriously on my radar. As with most things, the internet is full of warranty nightmares. The internet is also full of idiots. Have you had any issues with Ridgid warranty replacements at Home Depot? I am technically a DIYer. But I bring tools into work all the time. That and every other week I pack out to do whatever mom 🥰 needs done. -mama’s boy

I use these too and love them. Anytime I find a need I buy more.
Same here.

Glad you liked it. The drawer box is great.
Like Mine... not Milwaukee pack out, but not Milwaukee price too...
Exactly.

I do agree. I love being able to open the drawers stacked, and I do feel it should not weigh this much. Great points.

I don't like that the ridgid can't roll when the lever is down all the way
