I have been watching SNL for many many years and confidently I can confirm Kenan Thompson is the best universal actor that can fit in any skit and save even bad skits from bad writers or bad/poor acting from others. Well done Kenan, you are the man!

He's exactly what the show needs. He's perfect for it, because he's where he belongs. Most SNL alumni leave to make movies, either becoming successful or fading away. He's not a 'This is one of my signature characters' actor though. He's an every-man, able to mold to every random role they throw his way. Lorne isn't going to live forever. I sometimes wonder if he hasn't already found his replacement, and we just don't know it yet.
I'm so glad that Kenan Thompson has stayed with SNL. It's a bigger favor to SNL than it is to himself, because he's easily more talented than Kevin Hart and all those guys.
I honestly think Keenan might be the chosen one. The one true successor to Lorne Michaels, The only one that can carry the show on after his inevitable death... Keenan is Harry Potter.

Lorne Michaels relies on him a lot because of his versatility and his ability to make normal lines more funny. He also holds the record for most amount of Impressions done by a single cast member. November 6, 2020 - Ahhhhh the holidays. I now find myself in that slightly confusing, but delightful, time of the year when I transition from David S. Pumpkins to Sump'n Claus. Holiday rituals can be a bit daunting, at times, but in the end they are well worth the effort!
I don't know how I missed this all of these years. I was just DYING it's so good, and Keenan Thompson needs to be protected because he's a national treasure. I believe in Sump'n Claus.
