This reminds me of a story where a friend of mine was working out in Ivy Park and he fell off his bike and broke his arms. When the paramedics came, he begged them not to cut his ivy park. They had to 😢😢
Just wear the jumper all the time this season so it'll feel like it was worth the investment lol! Wear it in your autumn videos as your official "autumnal uniform" lol! Heart you!

You girl math your way out of buying that jumper!!! If you wear it 50 times this autumn/winter that’s only £8 per wear, and if you do the same next year it’s only £4 per wear!! 😂
My tip for anyone unhauling books ruthlessly is to make sure when you unhaul it, you UNHAUL it quickly and permanently. I have 100 books in bags in my living room due to go to a charity shop soon and each day I think about a different book from within those bags that I could so easily reach in and take out and just not remember to put back in 😂😭
I have a bag that’s been waiting months to be taken to a charity shop and now I want to go through and put them back on my shelves 😅
Unhaul videos are so cathartic for me. I basically gave away all of my physical books to Goodwill last year (except for a couple special edition ones + books from my childhood that had a lot of meaning) and now I read exclusively from my library. So I basically just don't own books anymore.

Hi Gavin! I’m an elementary school librarian in Canada. We have such a small budget for buying books and really depend on the second hand book donations we get from parents and the community. If you’re going to donate books I would suggest reaching out to local schools to see if anyone would take them! ❤ love your channel, you always give amazing middle grade rec’s!
He did say at the beginning that the children's books will be donated to a school. I'm sure they'll find a good home 😊

I LOVED The Sunbearer Trials! It definitely feels inspired by Hunger Games but it's a fantastic story on its own! I think you'd enjoy it 🥰

That’s quite a lot of books ! Glad to hear that the middle grades are getting donated, those kids are gonna love those books !! Hopefully this declutter was helpful and made room for even more books !! Cannot wait to see what else you’ve got in store
This has become a comfort video for me that I love rewatching, and 6:40 is my favorite part I always rewind and rewatch it at least a few times 😂
After spending that much on a jumper, it is a good thing it fits! Sorry to see the Night Circus go, I have two copies of it one in English, one in Georgian, I loved the atmosphere and descriptions it it, each to their own.

Depends. If it's one I might reread I keep the standard. Special books for me are more displays
I'm about to do my owl unhaul so it't good to see that I'm not the only one who struggle with it. You definitely inspired me to get rid of books from subscription boxed - and not cling to it just because they're pretty.
I’ll make it a rule of mine to buy one new book per three books I finish.
And sometimes I might cheat by reading said 200 page novels 👀

Bit late to this but catching up on my TH-cam and there is something about book unhauls that is so therapeutic to me and I always end up getting rid of so many of my own books on Ziffit after watching one
It's so hard to get started with an unhaul, but once you get momentum going, it honestly feels so refreshing! Congrats! 💖 (also, I definitely shed a tear at your sweater story because that is SO me-coded 😭 you have to wear it every day now!)

I would just wear it a ton and take good care of it. If it lasts years it'll be worth it in the long run hopefully

Oops on the sweater. I have done something similar, but not that expensive. If you sell those special editions, though, you can make up for the cost of the sweater...

I too have been burnt financially at the Dubai airport, although not to the extent you were! I just remember doing the money conversion and realising I’d paid about $30 for a coffee and a yoghurt. Coffee wasn’t even that good!

I do like brigid kemmerer a lot but her books are on the same level so if you haven't enjoyed any of hers yet, then you probably won't. I have destiny by destiny and I am not sure about whether or not if I want to try it or just let it go. I find karen mcmanus' mysteries fun but they don't run deep at all. I haven't given anything above a three star rating yet. I think many people have that journey with arcs -- think they are treasure and then realise if you get a final copy you don't really need them. And now I far prefer finished copies to proofs unless it is a book I am suuuuper excited to read early!

Here to say that the second Tristan Strong book was my least favorite but the third was really great! really excellent social commentary.
on another note, i used to read a lot of middle grade and primarily young adult but in the past couple of years i’ve started enjoying them less and less. it’s devastating when your tastes change because suddenly you don’t want to read books you once really wanted to.
BUT!!! If we apply girl logic / girl math. If you wear the sweater 200 days, it only cost you 2 pound 😎

Here's my contribution to that jumper
I read book of sand last month and it was very weird, yet I still enjoyed it for some reason. It did take a while to pick up the pace and it was an open ending with small closure. I think it was meant to become a series but sadly the author passed away. But if post apocalyptic isn't your thing anymore it was a good choice to unhaul.
