On the song Street People, the lady singing is Niko Williams, she is the sister of Shatasha Williams (from Thuggish Ruggish Bone) and a member of the Mo' Thugs group Tré.
heated heavy has a story behind it. Krayzie said he was in the studio and when he was leaving, he garbed a cassette tape he thought was his. but it was the heated heavy beat. No one knew who's it was. So he said put it on the album and they will deal with royalty's when they have too. Till this day, the creator has not come forth.
What up homie this kr@-J@ck I'm from Alabama Birmingham I got some more New music coming I had to take a break the fire still lit tell big kr@ bone- booone- bone
Romeo Antonio is awesome guitarist who was in Prince band back in the early 90’s. He also played for Michael Jackson and countless other musical greats.
AGREED he's a musical genius I honestly thought that the music Romeo played was just as great as any of the production that Dj Uneek done his work on those Mo Thug albums was incredible
Street People is named after the 1984 song also called Street People, by the female funk duo Firefox, which appeared at the end of the movie Breakin' (1984)
The producer for heated heavy is unknown. Krayzie Bone found the beat in the studio on a tape laying around. He kept trying to find who made it but to this day he has no idea who did. So for the moment krayzie is credited as the producer
Dude this is awesome! I was looking for some music to listen to while cleaning my house and I saw this reaction video to my favorite rapper and full album at that. PERFECT! Thanks .
The song with 8Ball & MJG was a dream come true for me at that time because Bone is my all-time favorite rap group( 3-6 a close 2nd) & 8Ball & MJG is my favorite rap duo
Makes me really happy seeing all of these reaction videos, man! I remember buying this album at Media Play when I was a kid. It’s still one of my favorite albums! 🔥 I’m glad the following generations still appreciate this music! 💎
the first verse on “drama” was originally on bone thugs “family tree” part 1 from art of war disc 1. you can hear it on the art of war pre-release cassette that ruthless records put out before the album dropped. he scrapped it
Lemie request brooo its my bday, n nah he still cant find who made heated heavy beat,he doesnt even know where it came from it was just on the back of a instrumental cd he had and he loved it, always sounded like the first real trap beat ever imo! Ps he was really into black panthers n 2pac this time so this album really reflects that mix of message with the thuggish ruggish sound
I don't know too much about Naughty by Nature, but I remember them being on the radio back in the day. The classic hits I remember by them was "Hip Hop Hooray", "Feel Me Flow", and "O.P.P."
I always wondered why Bizzy wasn’t on this album. No one can tell me that it was competition between those two back in the day. My dad use to be their bodyguard and use to be in the studio when they write down their verses and record them. Definitely friendly competition lol. Bizzy never really featured bone on his albums either. 😂
Alot of times they use their albums to promote their other artists Bizzy has been on Bone members albums & they have been on a couple of his over the years
Heated heavy was a unknown producer... Story goes, KB found the tape with the beat at a desk in the studio but didn't know who produced it but really liked the beat.. He did try to see who left the tape to give whoever did it credit on the credits..
Will never forget the day it came out. After my morring classes at college I went to get it. Buddy of mine bought it also casue I told him it will be fire. He loved it.... And I still love it.
As great as disc 1 is because of the great features it has & it is the one thst grabs your attention I THINK disc 2 is just musically better not to mention Silent Warrior is my favorite song on TM1999 with Revolution being 2nd
I was lucky I seen bone thugs 2 times one with all the members at the old hard rick las vegas and agin in vegas but only some of them showed up not all something going in the a brake up but I did house security for them the sec time at a ven in vegas
On the song Street People, the lady singing is Niko Williams, she is the sister of Shatasha Williams (from Thuggish Ruggish Bone) and a member of the Mo' Thugs group Tré.
Oh, that's dope. This entire time that I had the album since 1999 and I didn't know that until now.

FACTS he said it on his live that the beat was just laying around
Oh, I have an idea who left it laying around.

My favorite album since it came out in 1999! Bought it on the first day it came out and was blown away ever since.
Same here. The replay value on this album still sounds fresh to this day. It doesn't sound dated at all.
same. I bought it at Media Play back in the day, my go to place to get CDs. Still my favorite rap album.
Kray came to San Antonio, TX last year and performed all the hits on this album. Signed my copy when I met him too. GOAT

Relay was a female group. Pull up the Thug Mentality album artwork. You’ll see a picture of them.
So many classic songs & features on this album Krayzie really showed out on here
Yup, "Thug Mentality 1999" was Krayzie Bone at his best.
The producer for heated heavy is unknown. Krayzie Bone found the beat in the studio on a tape laying around. He kept trying to find who made it but to this day he has no idea who did. So for the moment krayzie is credited as the producer
Whoever created the beat abandoned it cause no one could figure out how to rap to it... that is until the master found it and history was wrote.
@@Carnage1975 lol this explanation is bulletproof

Eric Nordquist also did some work for Bizzy as well

“Pull ya leatha mask on ya face if you ready to ride” - Krayzie Bone
(Relay) was a all girl rap group from Atlanta that he signed to Thugline.
I don't know too much about Naughty by Nature, but I remember them being on the radio back in the day. The classic hits I remember by them was "Hip Hop Hooray", "Feel Me Flow", and "O.P.P."

Bam was Krayzie's artist from Thugline
Really appreciate this reaction. This album got me through it.
More bone finally! Let's go! 450 views in less than 18 hours.
I waited all summer for this August 1999 the greatest album was released a year later the expectation drove me nuts
This came out like April of 99 so there was no reason to had been waiting all summer for it lol
Yeah it came out April 6th 1999 and Nas' I' am album.. I had to cop both of them
Will never forget the day it came out. After my morring classes at college I went to get it. Buddy of mine bought it also casue I told him it will be fire. He loved it.... And I still love it.
React to Z-Ro Look What You Did To Me album, you'll love it
Frederick Hibbert by way of St Claire. When Krayzie says AK-47 it has nothing to do with guns. His metaphor flow is on another level.
I only mean the true terror of the violence potential cannot be described to human ears but the AK-47 serves as an understandable symbol
Btnh ft michael jackson- what have we done
Krayzie bone- one life
Asap ferg ft btnh- lord
Btnh- da originators
B-real - get that dough
also The Struggle with Petey Pablo
There is a song called BNK with bone and easy E

I love "Silent Warrior" too. "That's The Way" might be my favorite song on the entire album.
