You snowflakes call that assault?? The guy tried to block his camera's view because he's a creeper looking for trouble. Only a freaken weirdo would stand alongside a road filming a private business and their customers / employees for no reason. Yeah, you can do it, but you've all seen how the majority of Americans do not like it.
Your comment section is being severely shaddowban. Almost every reply tab, shows no replies. And I would bet the number of comments doesnt match the actual comments.
As a former police officer from Oklahoma, I know that deleting camera footage that can be used as exculpatory or condemning evidence , is illegal id done with malicious intent.. This deputy should have been charged with felony tampering/destruction of evidence as well as aggravated assault and battery. The county should have been sued for false imprisonment, unlawful arrest and Constitutional rights violations. Also for The injury to pepperoni and punitive damages. The worker should have been charged with simple assault and battery as well.
I'm surprised it isn't. I work for a big company that everyone uses, not naming names for privacy, but I constantly have wear a body cam to insure I'm not stealing. If turn off my body cam I WILL be fired instantly, because "I may be stealing". Cops should definitely implement this.
The fact that they deleted the footage off his personal camera shows that there is corruption inside their office not just the officers present. They need a full audit done by internal affairs ASAP
You're damned right!!! There's absolutely NO POINT that Law Enforcement has a right to mess with ANY footage of anything... ESPECIALLY if their questionable arrest of someone. That's kinda like, hiding evidence against oneself.
@@timnell207 This IS exactly why people are now taking the law into their own hands, there are way too many officers out there just like this arresting criminal officer. That little tyrant SHOULD be locked up !!
Exactly he was looking to work any angle possible to get a lawsuit out of it. Had he not just cussed them non stop from the get go the other guy would've gotten an assault charge. This pepperoni guy is an idiot
@@HipHopAnalysislike even if he is saying a bunch of horrible things, it is the freedom of speech. He did not break any laws nor was he doing anything illegal yet he was arrested and footage was deleted. I believe he is doing this for content and to test the police officers on their justice. And in this case we can see that emotions got the better of the officers and they did some corrupt things.
All of Sgt Morrison's past cases need to be reviewed. Looks like he was very comfortable acting the way he did in front of the camera. I wonder how many times he has done this before.
Yes and some of those are liable to be against me myself for breach of peace. I can't count the times they pulled that crap on me and I had to sit in fcdc for the mess.
Important to read. On 14:23 you said " It is crucial to film every encounter you have with officials." This is my question to you. What do you do if it is eligal to record a police officer with in 8 feet? Arizona just made that mandate on Oct 6,2022. July, the state's Republican governor, Doug Ducey, signed into law a measure making it illegal to record video within eight feet of where “law enforcement activity is occurring.” In other words, the law allows police to arrest you for taking video of them, even if you're videoing them as they break the law.Oct 6, 2022
They had no choice but to fire him. He was on TH-cam deleting evidence. Just think if this man did not find this other footage? Dropping charges is not enough. This corruption has to end.
No choice but to fire him? Most departments would have given him a promotion. Cops don't give a damn about what's on film. That's what qualified immunity is for.
This could overturn many many older cases because if they get caught tampering with evidence it devalues all last cases evidence. If pursued this could free many many people
If you shut off your cam, mute it, delete it, or misplace it... All charges should he dropped and you lose Qualified Immunity. We make them wear cams because we can't trust them.
@@Maynard-il1yj I don’t think that needs to happen, but they should 100% lose qualified immunity and go on probation, so if they commit another crime then they get charged with everything
I'm pretty sure deleting evidence after the fact doesn't fall under qualified immunity. Edit: Destruction of evidence is under qualified immunity. Damn, these stupid unconstitutional laws protecting criminal police.
@@carnivorous_vegan It’s not because it looks good on paper. It’s possible this deputy has a checkered past. If he resigns he has no appeal process with his union. He also has no recourse in court. In most cases, it’s cheaper to give officers a choice, resign or be fired. Also, in Florida departments are required to report officer resignations to FDLE if that resignation was an alternative to being fired for cause. That deputy is not out of the woods yet. FDLE could revoke his certification to be a police officer.
It calls into question every case he ever participated in, every charge he ever filed, every officer he ever trained. Who knows the depth of his abuse?
Anyone with an arrest log signed by this moron can be vindicated just because of this reputation issue. Any crime, drugs, pedophiles, murderers, ALL will walk free as a prosecutor will not touch these tainted cases.
All I can say is WOW!. What have these Deputies done to other people?? I bet there are stories that would shock most people. Thanks for sharing this video!

It's amazing that cops will arrest you get too close to them, but they feel perfectly at ease with invading your space, and if you back away, they arrest you for evading.
Sarge was simply looking for pepperoni to react, but he didn't. Still didn't matter- kick the citizens ass and simply delete video footage. Glad it backfired on that pos

Getting in a person's personal space is an intimidation tactic. Either trying to make them get physical back so they can charge them with a crime or scaring them into submission to your will. It's cop behavior 101. Cops appear to be taught that from day one. Bullies in all walks of life like to use that tactic.

This encounter confirms my biggest fear. I've always wondered if cops ever delete your video evidence to save themselves. The fact that the video was deleted and there was also a deleted video that was recorded inside the police department confirms that the officers turned on the camera and deleted the video evidence, while also accidentally hitting the record button. Tampering with evidence is a felony, and the officer should have been arrested immediately.
no tampering with evidence is not illegal.... this is america. there is no law. there is no justice. imho america should burn to the ground and be built up from those ashes. before you know it we got a 2nd russia on our hands. or worse another taliban.
arent there streaming services designed for exactly that circumstance? Hit 1 button, and the phone starts streaming to a cloud service. Destroying the phone wont get rid of that evidence if you do that.
I agree.. BUT, looking at it from the auditors veiw, he did have a right to be angry.. He wasn't doing anything wrong, cops weren't doing their jobs at all & did nothing but antagonize him.. They even deleted all the camera footage! Which is totally illegal in it's own. It would just make his case much better if he was more calm&polite to the officers throughout the encounter. Even if they arrest him, just record it all, be calm & Take care of it afterwards
I'm 54 years old. Ive been around long enough to where body cams and cell phones didn't exist and were not even conceived of yet. Back then the police ROUTINELY violated people's rights. I've been yanked out of my car and handcuffed within the first 30 seconds of a pullover multiple times. Then had my car searched. Nearly every time I hadn't even been told why I was stopped yet. Granted I was a bit of a rowdy young guy and was no angel. But they'd see you had any kind of a record and treated you like a hardcore criminal, in my case it was all driving offenses and I've never had a drug charge. It's just the mentality of a power hungry person. It's all an ego thing. These people are not fit to be cops. Thank God for body cams and cell phones! Now these little behotchs can't run their bs anymore.

@Colton true, but in the 80s there was no way for accountability. They'd don't every single time, and get away with it. I've noticed that the older cops that were cops before body cams really get upset about accountability. Jig is up lol.
Hope there are cameras at every corner in the future and anyone can access them right away. Can't trust cops cameras anymore; because they can turn them up.
The fact that the police know they are being video taped and they're still being stupid is unbelievable. They refuse to take a complaint because pepperoni knows his rights. Then he's arrested on false charges almost immediately by the sargeant.

The fact that he deleted the video of pepperoni not knowing that a tech can recor data is stupid too, and frankly should be additionally incriminated for (trying) deleting evidence
One gets fired because he should have known better: the others get out clause is they were following their supervisors orders - yes the supervisor is the one who was fired. Curious how that works but that’s modern American policing for you. It is yet to be revealed whether his union representatives succeed having that firing rescinded. It won’t be a surprise if they do…
It's very scary how aggressive that cop was. Our policemen have changed into military weapons instead of protect and serve officials. And they wonder why people are so suspicious as they approach. Police have no honor when they continue to violate citizens rights.

That's nothing compared to many departments in the south. Rape and murder were par for the course with many agencies in the south. The only thing that changed that was cameras. It has made a huge difference, but it isn't done yet, we still meet to be recording, with multiple devices, and backing them up to remote storage, because, as evidenced here, if the police get ahold of the devices, they will destroy evidence of crimes, which is a felony.
Thank God they're so inept that they couldn't pull it off. Just imagine how often they successfully "lose" evidence that they don't like. This auditor was lucky. It could have easily turned out bad for him.
Its criminal, destruction of evidence. Its not just bad. Its a felony. Conspiracy is a second felony. Deprivation of rights under colour of law is a crime as well. Assault is likely a felony. Battery is likely a felony. Theres at least 3 or 4 felonies involved here for each person, and potentially one for the dude who shoved him. The false arrest is tantamount to kidnapping and false imprisonment. Etc
What he heck is this guy? What an insufferable prick… He deserves to be arrested, honestly. What’s the point of all this filming anyway? Just to get people upset?
Exactly he is purposely antagonizing people and then badgering them until they basically lose their temper. If someone was in my face calling me a loser and an idiot and useless for 15 minutes nonstop incessantly, and constantly I would eventually tire of it. One of the cops even told him I’m being respectful to you. Why can’t you be respectful to me and the guy kept laying it on even more the guys an absolute jerk!!!
The first two officers should be fired. They didn't stop their Sgt from breaking the law and they maliciously and purposefully deleted video that was not their property. That alone should warrant a violation of oath of office, criminal conspiracy in covering up the officers crime, intimidation, civil rights violations as well as the obvious criminal violations. It is ludicrous that any law enforcement officer would treat a citizen in such a way. I hope they all do time and none of these men should be in a position of authority.
If you live in that city and your taxes go up, collect a group of citizens 100, 200 or more and file a Class Action Lawsuit against the City for Negligence, especially if the city has settled cases like these before..
Accountable would mean being charged with the same crimes you or I would be if we attacked the officer the same way. This is a slap on the wrist. Accountable would mean a group of citizens circle around the cop and beat, electrocute, assault, kidnap and lock the cop in a rape cage without any personal consequence.
As an evil man once said, "show me the man, and i'll show you the crime." There are so many vague laws on the books that they can get you for almost anything. Anything can be considered a breach of peace or disorderly conduct.
Maybe they fired the supervisor, but they did nothing for the deputies, who didn’t investigate AT ALL and scoffed at the auditor. Ridiculous. I hope he wins big!
Don't worry he will win bigger than you can imagine because when these filthy rotten pigs take their last breath they will be in God's Court and God will condemn them to hell for eternity and that's for sure because God hates evil bastards like these pigs God bless America
And said they needed his name for an assault report, then, just ran him for warrants right next to him (I believe that was to say, "ha ha, I tricked you. You don't tell ME how to do my job!", something we hear a lot from ego driven cops!), and wouldn't take the report! Then he lied and said he wouldn't tell him what happened! No, you wouldn't listen to what happened, because you had already decided he was a criminal.
This is why there should be laws in place for every state to require every law officer to have body cams on, with sound, to be worn and on for every encounter. There should also be a public board, not internal affairs, who oversees and investigates cases such as these.
I totally agree with a public board for ever law enforcement agency in the country. Also body cam for all law enforcement officers that remain on at all times with audio. To many times you see them mute the audio to talk among themselves.
What? No, the guy literally disrespected the hell out of them. If the role were reversed, people would be calling the officer even more corrupt, and claiming that he’s a bully. This is ridiculous.
They deleted the footage from his camera while he was in custody, in addition to the multitude of charges against this deputy sounds like tampering with evidence should be added.
It's actually a good thing the other deputies didn't step in and tell the sergeant not to do what he's doing because if they did he'd still be working there. Now he's terminated because they didn't stop him from screwing up.

the Sargent was very menacing. All this "I stand behind my officer" mess has to stop. Wrong is wrong and being the head guy, it was up to him to really handle the situation properly. And another thing, charges only get dropped when the precinct at hand knows they can't beat the charges coming their way and use it as a peace offering.
Before anything even transpired with the police, this guy was ridiculously rude, antagonistic, and childish in the way he was interacting with them. I have no respect for him at all.
To Pepperoni: please do not under any circumstances take an out of court settlement. Get a jury verdict. Nothing will change if you take an out of court settlement. The sheriff and deputies, the county and state will never admit fault unless you get a jury verdict.
Now pepperoni audits needs to go after the officer in his private capacity and take everything he owns. It would be a slam dunk case. As soon as the officer made a false arrest he lost his qualified immunity.

Hard to get in WV too. Usually it's not but if the cops look bad in the video, they try to find any excuse to deny the request. I was denied body cam footage last year, they claimed it was because there was an "investigation." There was nothing to investigate though. They pulled me over, boxed my car in on all sides as if I was trying to flee, all because one of my passengers yelled at some cops, calling them pigs. Then cited the guy with disorderly conduct after talking crap to him about how they'd like to kick his ass. End of story. What's there to investigate??? Still won't release it. But I'm gonna try to one more time. In the video I was polite & even admitted to the cops what the guy yelled at them. Why you might ask???? Because it's protected free speech & their response was total overkill & unconstitutional.

There’s a better channel at breaking down audits and also grading everyone involved. He is very neutral as well. If an auditor is being a 🍆, then he calls them out at the end.
I can imagine the conversation, "Wow, this guy is rude." "Yeah, he don't like us." "He's cursing at me, but he got no warrants." "We can't just leave and let him stay there. The business called us to run him off." "He didn't do anything illegal, and I don't wanna be on utube makin' a false arrest." "Hey, let's call Morrison. He hates those u-tubers."
Does anyone else think the department has been looking for a reason to get rid of this officer and this assault is just the final straw in a not so stellar career?
Absolutely not. That department and all those uniformed minions you see in the video will lie, cajole and even hurt someone to protect their own. I still doubt he really got fired.
I wager that sergeant's PD quickly arranged for him to work at another local PD that embraces low I.Q., overpaid, malicious and often deadly brothers in blue.
Why would you call 911? That would probably be an illegal use of an emergency system using it to report some asshole standing on your property trying to provoke a police interaction and scam a lawsuit.
I found it hilarious that the Dove employee walked all the way out to the sidewalk while being filmed and then tried to block the camera. I’d say that horse has already left the barn.
Honestly this video shows exactly why just recording every interaction isn't enough. You need to either livestream ot record on a device that automatically uploads the video to be saved somewhere else. Every officer on the scene should be fired immediately.
Every auditor should have multiple cameras, at least one streaming/uploading to a secure site that cannot have content removed via any of those devices, and preferably at least 1 covert camera, too.
Why? This dude was a piece of shit, he was intentionally being rude to everyone around him, being a public nuisance, mouthing off to the officers, why would you defend a piece of shit? If you're being respectful, ok, but as soon as this prick opened his mouth, I lost all respect for whatever "Audit" he was supposedly doing.
Every time I'm filming, I always make sure the footage is being simultaneously saved to device's memory and also uploaded to a cloud. That way, even if they delete what's on the device, there is a copy somewhere in a cloud. Thanks!
Please post how to upload instantaneously to the cloud while filming. I've lost all respect for the police, and will record every encounter with them, or others. I don't want the police to eff with my phone and destroy evidence as they tried to do here.
Why would anyone want to help pepperoni when he is rude as hell, calls people out their name, and argues with everything anyone says. No class. Other auditors dont act like this. If they do they are doing more harm than good.
Peperoni should have held onto his recovered video, files the lawsuit, with a good chance ALL 4 deputies deleted their bodycam footage, then produced his video, then got them all fired and even better, brought up on criminal charges for tampering with evidence.

Deleting evidence or intentionally turning off your body cam should be an automatic forfeiture of the ability to work in public services again
It should be a felony, any officer that corrupt shouldn’t be allowed to just move on to new prospects

July, the state's Republican governor, Doug Ducey, signed into law a measure making it illegal to record video within eight feet of where “law enforcement activity is occurring.” In other words, the law allows police to arrest you for taking video of them, even if you're videoing them as they break the law.Oct 6, 2022

They should have camera's that they can't turn off or mute or delete until uploaded to public records.....
Same thing for politicans

Lol a public board? People that definitely don’t know the law or policing policies? Yeah that sounds helpful.

To Pepperoni: please do not under any circumstances take an out of court settlement. Get a jury verdict. Nothing will change if you take an out of court settlement. The sheriff and deputies, the county and state will never admit fault unless you get a jury verdict.
Talk to the state DA about filing Conspiracy to Destroy Evidence charges against the officers. That's a felony offense we know they committed.
It's very hard to say no to $50,000+ in return for signing a non-disclosure form.
Advice: Please Livestream every encounter so it’s downloaded in many places. They knew they were guilty, erasing footage just proves it!😮
Now pepperoni audits needs to go after the officer in his private capacity and take everything he owns. It would be a slam dunk case. As soon as the officer made a false arrest he lost his qualified immunity.

It's not just difficult to get bodycam in SC, it's basically impossible. The only way to get it is if it's released as part of a civil or criminal investigation. You cannot FOIA bodycam in SC. They know this, and that's why they deleted his video. Had he not been able to recover it, the only way to get the evidence would be an expensive lawsuit. A disgusting show of how bent the system is.
Its actually much easier to get dash cam footage in S.C. Why the body cam is verboten, I dont know.
They do the same thing here in NC, Coward cop video is kept secret BY LAW. What sense does that make? If you have a traffic case, THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU A COPY OF THE VIDEO, which is evidence. SMGDH
@@bbigrocker1 I know what you mean, I had a run-in while passing through NC once. I was cited for speeding, and I told my lawyer I wanted discovery. I was told there is no discovery in NC because it's a "civil infraction" and not a criminal charge. If you can't get discovery, what chance do you have? Then it's your word against theirs, and the magistrate judge is always going to give more weight to their word over yours. My lawyer was able to work it down to an equipment violation (no points) and I bent over and paid the fine. Its a disgusting racket that's heavily tilted in their favor. Idc what they want to label it, you should have Constitutional due process rights, and a fair opportunity to defend yourself. I can't see any way you could defend yourself without discovery. Yet another reason why everyone should invest in a good dashcam so you have some avenue to defend yourself from policing for profit.
Plus I may only try once more because I have another situation that's worse where the police chief of another local PD near me slandered me on Facebook, saying I could only dislike cops "because they busted me or my dealer" implying that I'm a junkie or drug dealer. Which I am neither...nor have I ever met this chief. I've contacted the civil rights lawyer, because he has an office in my town, but have yet to hear from him.

Pepperoni instigated with the disrespect and cursing at the officers. He caused his own problems here it was like he wanted the drama.
Honestly this video shows exactly why just recording every interaction isn't enough. You need to either livestream ot record on a device that automatically uploads the video to be saved somewhere else. Every officer on the scene should be fired immediately.
Wish I could give you 10 thumbs ups.
Every auditor should have multiple cameras, at least one streaming/uploading to a secure site that cannot have content removed via any of those devices, and preferably at least 1 covert camera, too.
The cops tampered and attempted to destroy evidence. So yeah, that makes all of them corrupt.
Should be in prison* destruction of evidence is a felony

If you're being respectful, ok, but as soon as this prick opened his mouth, I lost all respect for whatever "Audit" he was supposedly doing.
He thought he could delete it and get away with it. He has probably done the same thing multiple times before.
Every time I'm filming, I always make sure the footage is being simultaneously saved to device's memory and also uploaded to a cloud. That way, even if they delete what's on the device, there is a copy somewhere in a cloud. Thanks!
That is what I heard you should do. I don't know if there is any way to do this without paying for an expensive service, though.
The cops need to face jail time and fines.
Lol sure you do….
Please post how to upload instantaneously to the cloud while filming. I've lost all respect for the police, and will record every encounter with them, or others. I don't want the police to eff with my phone and destroy evidence as they tried to do here.
And if this video was never posted, this officer would never have been fired.
With all the lawsuits won by auditors, its honestly a miracle that all cops dont yet know that it is legal to record a public building.
Not sure if this particular building is a public business but I get what you're sayin'.
RIGHT! You would think their first question would be what are you doing? Taking pictures. Their second question should be, do you have a youtube channel? You would think that even a 12 year old could identify a 1A audit in 15 seconds.
The police know they are in the wrong, they just don't care because 99 out of 100 face absolutely no repercussions for their violent and often criminal acts.
They do know, they just have a chip on their shoulder and think… “they won’t do it in my town… not on my watch”… they go in thinking they are absolute authority.
