      I've seen people shake them around in the Pot AFTER they Parboil them for 10 minutes.. I've never seen anyone "score" them, that would take some time.

      I've been doing them like this for years now, Paprika for the colour and the secret ingredient is Semolina for the crispyness and hot goose fat makes them even MORE crispy than olive oil ... sorry Akis :-)

    Usually when I hear ""roasted potatoes"" I think of the soggy, baked red potatoes that my mom made. This, however, looks delicious! I love the crunchy outside/soft inside combo. I'll definitely have to try this out!

    I made these potatoes today, ( july 22, 2018) and they were the best roasted potatoes ever!! I didn’t have any semolina, but i used bakingpowder instead. Worked like a charm! Tnx Akis!

    This looks so simple to make. Thank you for this idea Akis! I was wondering if you can make a video with details on how to make filo dough from scratch and rolling it out to make spinach and cheese pies? I tried homemade style filo pastry many years ago at a restaurant and found it to be so amazing and different from the frozen type of filo pastry.

    Jamie uses an alternative technique - instead of scoring them with a knife, use a fork instead. Looks delicious!
