I was wondering the same exact thing. I kept going back to that point of the video and trying to zoom in but it was too Pixley. It looks like a bobby pin at first glance but then she turns it to go back the other way. Which in my mind you would just lose all the hair that you just pinned. If you scroll down to the earlier comment someone asked what she used to create the style she said bobby pins and then a type of teasing brush. However a clear elastic hair tie is definitely used right after second 21. I think the rest are bobby pins? I’m not sure. I really like this hairstyle but my hair is thin I’ve been looking at other videos and they use a clear plastic band Toehold the first part of the hairstyle where we are unsure what was used in the video.
