It is necessary for the look, but man did I hate it! I'm planning to do a cosplay outfit with a side ponytail that pretty much sticks straight out, and my hair is tailbone length and HEAVY. I love wearing my hair in a ponytail but i like it sleek with middle or side part perfectly behind both ears with a scrungie. Dont like. Elastics or hair ties. Do u like sleek ponytail and i love it down tucked perfectly behind both ears with a sleek middle part with big hoop earrings to finish the look. Do u like that style
Looks gorgeous, but way to time consuming and products.... how are u gonna get that all out of your hair? A more simple route would be a little tease and a little scrunch would be all it takes. But it looked great!
The curling iron step was a total waste of time as she combed it all out putting up the pony tail- way too much product used - a little hairspray at the root and teasing will do the same thing
Hi Lisa! Curling the hair can sometimes give the hair a slight bend or wave that can help provide the hair with some volume. It might not be necessary for all hair types, but it can do wonders for some!
