If you have like a message on the browser box "no data received, is the radio connected and in flash mode? please try again." You should push the pin to the radio side. Problem will be solved.

Hi, so many firmware extend the frequency range to 18 -1300 MHz. Is there also programming software that can store frequencies below 50 MHz or above 600 MHz in the device? The latest version of CHIRP (December 9, 2023) also issues an error message when such an attempt is made.
Wait for new chirp updates or use Original Programing software.
My 'M' select when selecting the ctcss is now working since flashing v20. Happy days. Also, where can i find a list of the egzumer menu settings?

Does the UV-5R run the same stock firmware as UV-K5/K6? Just asking in case I don't like EGZUMER and want to go back to stock firmware, can I just flash it with the stock K5 firmware? I haven't been able to find stock UV-5R firmware for download anywhere.

Hi, hope you can help me. I bought a Quansheng UV K5 from Ali Express. Device works good, but in the Frequency Range from 350-399.975Mhz it is not possible to send. When i push the Send Button in this range, the Display shows "TX-Disable".
I thought a firmware update on egzumer would solve the problem, but I still can't transmit in this frequency band. What could I do to fix this?

Did it last night ive not had a chance to play with the radio yet.
Look at each button text , hold down buttons, also put F then 5.
Keep getting the failed to connect to serial port after clicking the flash firmware button.. using the baofeng usb cable...any suggestions
Push the two pin connector harder in to tha Radio .

Tried this but when i hit "connect" it says firmware unable to load check radio is in flash mode. Which it is !! Any ideas please.

Mine recognises the port but just won't upload it. :(

@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones I have. There is not much to it. I have even watched the other peoples instructions.
It recognises it in Device manager on the COM3. I click to Flash firmware. The box come up with COM3-Paired. I select it and click on Connect and it comes with "No data received, is the radio connected and in flash mode? Please try again." (And, it is in the Flash mode as the flashlight is on.)
Mine gets to 13% and then stops, now it does not turn on :/
Push cable in harder u can't brick these Radios reload .
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones I can deadlift 500lbs so my push is a little stronger than most, it is definitely all the way in (she said in horror :) sometimes it gets to 50%, sometimes 30%, most I've had is 80%. I think it may be the cable, I've ordered a different one, hopefully this cures it.
