This is a game of precision. Some of the jumps are very difficult if you don't hit previous jump at the correct speed. On the first time around the divisions, your car has great difficulty reaching top speed necessary for some of those jumps. However once you beat all the divisions, on the next playthrough your car is much faster which makes taking those jump easier but it also make it easier to drive so fast you go flying off the track. The first time I beat all the divisions I jumped up from my chair catching the corner of my Amiga and flipping it in the air (I guess it could also have been cheering) I did have a map of all the tracks and jumps and at what speed to take them and also when and where to boost.
Although the frame rate on the ST version was a tiny bit faster it had no atmosphere without that awesome engine noise and the stomach churning creaking sound of the floor as you went round the bends on the Amiga version.
Thanks for the shout out chaps!! Also big congrats for reaching a massive 5K subs.
Our pleasure! We love you Hermski!

Absolutely. I agree with everything you said on this one. Clearly, you've had a game or two..haha.
I had this as a little kid at my grandads on his Amiga 500 and I love this so much
This is an all time, stone cold classic!
such a great game, my friend and me serial linked Amiga A500's , it was so good multiplayer, way ahead of its time
I'm hoping to play some linked games at Boatfest!
One trick that most players don't know: you can boost brake..
hard but satisfying game

Yeh, I think you nailed it there. Still, they are both quite impressive and playable I think!
@@AmigosRetroGaming it's an exceIIent game
Love this show. Greetings from 🇬🇧
Thanks man! We appreciate it!
While the ST and Amiga look almost identical in game, at least the Amiga version doesn't make my ears bleed.
That seems to be a common complaint about the ST sound...haha.
I loved this game, but I found it too hard on later stages.
It does get crazy tough...you have to memorize every part of the track, and then a little luck helps..haha.
Gotta admit I was never a fan of this one .
Not that I was shite at it or owt....
Come on jack, get on the trolley and give it another go!
