Some of my favorite Gershwin. Love this performance. I am so envious of your "downhill tenths in the Andante. Elegant rubato. Accacciatura producing perfect blue notes. You channeled George. I do believe. I am reminded of how Gershwin influenced my favorite Beatles composer, George Harrison.
Yeah this really is the most useful video to learn the preludes, but please attach more tags to it because it's very hard to find! I recently found it by coincidence but couldn't find it afterwards, until now, because I was searching for "gershwin"...
I "rewrite" or "redistribute" the notes between the hands. When the melody appears the 2nd time in octaves I break (roll) the LH chords, but the trick is to roll them so fast that they sound practically together. I'll be happy to teach you that and other things at my Piano Camp in Utica NY this coming June and August.
Finnaly a decent recording of the 3 preludes. Great playing in all of them.
Awesome! Rami:)
I love it, it's perfect!
I'm practicing No.3 at the moment and I wish I could make it sound like this, because this man has the right feeling

Nice playing! I love these pieces, played them since high school and always come back to them =)
I like the swing in the 2nd one!
Bravo ! I only wish I could hear you in person because I suspect this vid doesn't truly do justice to your playing. Thanks for posting !
