i used to wonder as a kid if gol and mia ever were destroyed by the dark eco silos at the final boss fight. i used to wonder "Surely its not possible they survived...right...?" i used to wonder if it was possible...daxter is living proof that you can survive dark eco. but what about gol and mia? like the green eco sage said "it probably destroyed them...probably..." i always wondered during my search for the final power cells "what if..." turns out my pondering was pointless in jak 2 and jak 3 lol
I remember when I first played this game around the time it came out. I was a kid who was still getting the hang of things like platform games, and now that I think about it I didn't realize that the first boss was a boss when I was playing the game. I got stuck on him and died so many times that I gave up.
Damn I'm not alone it seems, this was one of the first games I played as a chid and I remember being stuck at this part for a very long time and never wanted to face him making my heart race and everything lol
@@erinb.spica-senpai5060 You're so kind thanks for telling him 2 years later, he can finally go back to his game and beat it without having to worry about that (:
Only three bosses? Is that all this bastard child of Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie and Crash Bandicoot has to offer? =/ No wonder why Jak II changed so much from the first game. It worked.
Gustavo Paz what do you want the whole fucking game to be boss fights? Compare it to games like ratchet and clank that came out at the time. This was the standard for bosses moron. Not sure what magical fucking boss you want added in this game
TheAireaidLord Not necessarily "the whole fucking game", but if the Crash games ND made had 5-6 each, why would the Jak games have fewer? What happened so that they went from making many bosses in a series, to fewer in another, and then virtually none in The Last of Us? Also, by the time J&D was released, there were already plent of 3D platform games with many bosses, and most of them having a good challenge. The bosses in J&D (the first one, to clarify, I do admit that 2 and 3 have better battles) are barely harder than Papu Papu from the first Crash Bandicoot. Once again, what happened that caused Naughty Dog to drop the ball in this aspect after the amazing battles against N Gin and Cortex in Crash 3?
***** Plenty of exploration-based games have had plenty of amazing bosses, such as the 3D Mario and Zelda games, as well as real-time strategy games like Pikmin and RPGs . Besides, it's NOT mutually-exclusive to have a big world to explore AND boss fights. I'm sorry, but yours is not an excuse, and it still doesn't justify that the Naughty Dog series have progressively had fewer and fewer bosses, to reaching none in TLOU. I suppose it's perfectly fine for those who enjoy interactive movies, but not for me who wants to play GAMES.
Gustavo Paz This game was based HEAVILY on exploration. ND were taking a different kind of approach with J&D. I still kind of agree on how there should be more than three boss fights, though. Also, ND weren't that big of a company like Nintendo is.

Fam was straight up TOYING with Gol I’m that last boss fight. That was so clean 🔥

Hello fellow Warlock 😉
@@BeyondElite Hazah! A man of Quality!
When fighting Klaww youre suppose to shoot the boulder out of his hands :P
AdderSnake You may be _supposed_ to, but just straight-up shooting at Klaww works perfectly fine.

Wow, I legit did not know you could shoot at the boulder.
I watched my brother play this when we were little.
Sighs.....good times.

I REMEMBER BEING TRAUMATIZED BY THE DISGUSTING DARK ECO PLANT. GROSSEST BOSS IN VIDEO GAME HISTORY.

Dang, I spoke too soon. I watched the other boss videos, and Jak II only has 4 bosses, while Jak 3 has only 3. I'm disappointed, Naughty Dog.
