If you do it in MCC, does the bandana skull disable achievements? I think i heard somewhere that all of the completion achievements are disabled with the bandana skull.

Nope, not at all

it disables par time and par score achievements. Other than that, I don't believe so.

That's how I got it lol. I got it on accident too. I was going for the par score on legendary and saved and quit everytime I died to make sure I got the score.

If you die, just quit out and procced, same tactics like with iron skull
