The movie is not even that bad as you described, forget about the all fight elements, majority of the audience don't go for that (family audience). Story wise the movie is pretty good, if you forget about logic. Compared to other commercial movies that have come recently, this one is best. Even the comedy timing worked out. There's something to be said about intention.. That speech in school, however contrived it is, should be heard by children. If it's in an art film that critics love & no one watches in cinemas or OTT, it doesn't matter. National awards are meaningless in the long term. But the fact that we have a film with mass appeal (& thus big audience reach) talking about it should be applauded. Does it matter if it's a bad film? If the message reaches general audience, it's worth having a bad film play in cinemas for a few weeks.. It's a case of means justifying the end for me. I didn't like the film. But I'm glad it's a film crores of people are going to watch.. Sometimes, we need such films to spread message about such a terrible thing happening around us. It's only a movie. No need to be dramatic.. It's worth something if people, especially children, learn how to deal with some situations from it.. My only grievance is that the speech is centered around girls when it happens to young boys as well. Wish they would have addressed it. But still happy that it's being talked about openly instead of behind closed doors.

The movie is not even that bad as you described, forget about the all fight elements, majority of the audience don't go for that (family audience). Story wise the movie is pretty good, if you forget about logic. Compared to other commercial movies that have come recently, this one is best. Even the comedy timing worked out. Finally, if people managed to appreciate movies like Jailer, then they would find this watchable too. This movie's 10x better than Jailer lol.

There's something to be said about intention..
That speech in school, however contrived it is, should be heard by children. If it's in an art film that critics love & no one watches in cinemas or OTT, it doesn't matter. National awards are meaningless in the long term.
But the fact that we have a film with mass appeal (& thus big audience reach) talking about it should be applauded. Does it matter if it's a bad film? If the message reaches general audience, it's worth having a bad film play in cinemas for a few weeks.. It's a case of means justifying the end for me. I didn't like the film. But I'm glad it's a film crores of people are going to watch..
Sometimes, we need such films to spread message about such a terrible thing happening around us.
It's only a movie. No need to be dramatic..
It's worth something if people, especially children, learn how to deal with some situations from it..
