The visual imaging of the Brahms' passionate score is given a LIFE, and heartbeat, I haven't heard of any recent conductors able to play this great score as precisely and wonderfully as Maestro Bychkov. I love it so much !! Thumb-up !!
Un équilibre magnifique entre vigueur rythmique et lyrisme, son large et transparence de la texture orchestrale, tempos permettant la cohérence entre les divers épisodes sonores... une très belle version dans une attitude pleine d'humilité !
Ich liebe diesen ersten Satz so. Es macht besonders spaß in im Winter zu hören, wenn man draußen wandert und es gersde schneit. Und um ein herum alles weiß und kalt ist. Danke für diese wundervolle Interpretation!
This performance of the 2nd Symphony is much more consistent than his interpretation of the 1st, as I hear it. Good as the 1st was (with its minor flaws), this is better. Here his choice of tempi is much more convincing, and the technical quality is on a par with the 1st. Thank you again. JAT

En die solo's van de hoorn (maar ook van de hobo en klarinet) in de Brahms symfonieën vind ik geweldig!)
