My husband and I frequently eat meals at Rodic's here in Marikina. It's actually a branch of the original eatery located at the Shopping Center of UP Diliman, where we also dined several times in the past (pre-pandemic times).
FYI, Goto Garahe offers not only basic merienda fares like Goto, lumpia, tokwa't-baboy, and halo-halo. They also serve breakfast and lunch meals. I should know - I live in the area, probably just a hundred meters away from that gotohan!😊

I was wondering initially why the goto was not thick at all than you would normally expect from the porridge itself and then you mentioned the unusual use of long grain rice and then I thought, "oh yeah, that's why it is a little bit runny." New follower here and laking Marikina here! I enjoyed watching your videos, as I miss my hometown! Have you tried Rocha's Puto? They have a branch infront of San Roque Church too (beside Kapitan Moy). I personally like the Kutsinta than the puto. Alsoo, have you tried Krung Thai (restau is in dry section of Marikina Palengke.
