This hit 10x harder in the anime. I didn't really care about Bazz B or his motives while reading the manga but this episode got me on his side. I'm a Bazz fan now.
I don't know how to move on from this episode. I was looking forward to this ever since reading the manga, and I'm so glad they put great care into the anime adaptation 🥹
Even though young Hashcwalth was a total drag down, Bazz-B NEVER abandoned him in his plans. He might be arrogant and hot-headed, but he's not necessarily a bad friend.
The last 30 seconds of this video gave me chills. Aside from jazz B and hashwald I forgot the entire arc is a “war” just like the theme of the song being war and showing everyone going hard as hell in their fights, and sacrifices being made.
I think Jugram began to think that Buzz-B is just egoistic and doesn't accept him as a true friend if he will be the weaker. Jugram looked into his eyes, thinking that being chosen isn't the matter but the plan. However, what he saw in his eyes is just hatred and disappointment of being not chosen as he's gifted. So, at this very moment, he entered in a hard comparison between his so-called friend and the value Yhwach has just given to him.
Worst part is that Bazz B wasnt even egoistic either. Even when he thought Jugram was weaker than him and served no purpose in his plans, he never abandoned him and wanted to get stronger with him. Even after learning Jugram was stronger, giving up on revenge and joining the Sternritters he still wants Jugram to be the successor instead of Uryu and doesnt like seeing him get pushed around by Yhwach, he was always looking out for him, while Yhwach just wanted his strength. Jugram never understood that because he refused to communicate and ended up killing his only friend.
@doggerlander Yes, I agree, but my opinion is based on Jugram's internal thoughts, especially at that moment, not what Bazz-B really means by his behavior, generally. Maybe Bazz-B just couldn't realize it suddenly, but then he's still his true friend.
@@doggerlander There may be a SPOILER here. There is a theory that Yugram also had a hand in killing Yahweh in the finale, having tinkered a bit with Allmight while Yahweh was sleeping. This seems to explain why Yahweh didn't notice Uryu's arrow
We can also consider how Jugram has been living, he wasn't really into revenge, his uncle dying in the hands of Yhwach is even a freedom to him. He was abused by his uncle, then he sees his friend glaring at him like that, being a kid hearing Yhwach's emphasis on his importance was like a light to him
Ughhh! The moment I've been waiting since I read the manga! *SPOILER* for those who didn't read the manga... . . . . . . . . . . But when He let go of his sword and It literally showed that the Botton Buzzb gave to him was in his sword all along!!! My whole emotion was shuttered 😭!!! He did care and he treasured Buzz to the point that he kept the botton with him! That moment right there proved how much he love Buzzb! I swear this is one of the reasons why I love and hate Kubo so much😭 Its the way he portrays the characters affection to the people they really love! Unlike other mangakas... Its often so direct that you wont have trouble questioning if they really do love that person and the characters will often say it! But with Kubo He always do it in a very subtle way! That you'll get hit really hard once you realize it! Just like here... Jugram never spoke how much Buzzb meant to him but instead it just showed us the button in he's sword!!! Like!!! Ughhh 😭 and I really really Love the argument he had with Uryu! Its also one of my favorite! It showed the difference between him and Uryu! Uryu despite knowing what the future holds he still choose to fight and be with Ichigo and the rest and tried to change the outcome! While Jugram just accepted it even if it meant killing the only person that matters to him! Its literally so sad!!! Anyways I'm so thankful for this edit! Its beautiful 🤎 love it! Bazz-B isn’t one of my favorite characters but I feel like he didn’t have to die here. Haschwalth could’ve just dismantle him, provide first aid and store him up till the end of the war. Jugram even implored he should stop and back off. This is coming from someone who wanted Jugram to survive the story.
Now let’s wait for the comments “oh it was rushed it should have been at least 3 episodes of dragging the fight. It should have been flashier bazz should have pulled a power up out of his a*s and fight on pair with the 3rd most powerful pure quincy” these people think bleach is naruto or one piece
This episode is technically faithful to the source material, but therein lies the problem-this faithfulness feels like a double-edged sword. As an adaptation, the decision is understandable, but emotionally, the episode fails to deliver the impact it should have. I went in with the expectation of an emotionally charged battle, especially considering Bazz B's backstory and his conflict with other characters. However, the execution felt cold and flat, like discarding an ice cube without any meaning. Bazz B’s final wishes, which should have been a pivotal moment, were completely disregarded. Instead of being portrayed as a true friend, he was treated as nothing more than a mere rival, defeated without significant resistance. This reduced his character to a shadow of what it could have been. He felt like a watered-down version of a "Kenpachi of the Quincy world," a promising character left to wither. While Bazz B’s flashback provided some tragic context, it lacked sharpness and depth. The choice of background music didn’t help either; it failed to enhance the emotional atmosphere. Instead of supporting the narrative, the music felt disconnected, leaving a void in what should have been an emotional climax. I struggle to understand why the studio took this approach-whether it was a deliberate creative choice or a lack of focus on the emotional nuances in this adaptation. As someone who has read the manga, I feel that the adaptation lost the emotional essence I once experienced while reading. I regret reading the manga beforehand because knowing what would happen made the episode feel empty. I don’t fault the adaptation for being poorly made-it’s technically solid. However, I’m disappointed because there was so much potential to deepen the conflict and emotions, but the result feels cold, cruel, and devoid of soul. The long wait for this moment has ended in disappointment. My expectations for something more emotional and profound were left unfulfilled. Perhaps this is what the studio intended-a brutal, unrelenting portrayal-but for me, it simply wasn’t enough. This episode could have been a defining moment, but instead, it leaves a bitter taste that’s hard to ignore.

He even lost his best friend, Jugram who betrayed him and got killed by his friend, whom he couldn't understand. Jugram on the other hand was a weak, orphan child, who was abused by his uncle. He never said this to anyone and became very silent, carrying this heavy burden and lived a tragic life and died lonely.
@kovla4684 you are wrong, one of the saddest deaths is the absence of Senna in Memories Of Nobody when compared to the end of the history of Bazz B who ended up being a minced chicken by Jugram Haschwalt feels 1 in 1000 Bazz B is nothing more than a kepanchi from another universe.
