Instead of shorting, use LED or equivalent resistance... That will last long.

Hope when you short de faulty led diode, since connected in series with out replacing , you increase their terminal voltage more on their designed rated voltage, does this have no effect on their life span?

I came to across your videos and it so impressive I do subscribe to your channel, I have zero background when it come to electrical stuff, when watching your videos it seems to be you’re so professional technical man. My issue here is I leave in USA and built a house in back home Ghana the house were wired 220v and 120v for American appliances such as all led lights, sockets, home security cameras and other stuff which is 120v 60hz I can be able to convert the voltage meaning stepdown the voltage from 220v to 120v here’s my problem which device do I need to convert the frequency from 50hz to 60hz while perhaps all my American gadgets frequency are marked as 60hz. I would be more appropriate if you could be help me.
