Wow, you are already a pro, now you made me doubt what my main mecha should be, I like melee type mechas, this is impressive, I'll wait for it next year, it feels like the best game of mechas
This looks even more low skill ceiling then AC6. Comparing to double melee in AC , to the panther its just button mashing here 😢 Hope they dont disregard melee
Spark: It thinks the majority of it will depend on parry timings and resource management. A lot of players didnt really retaliate with Axe or focus them down. They seem to be a single target take down Striker that's good at catching people out but possibly bad at team fights. Something else you probably didn't realize is that Panther cant do anything while they're revving up their drill charge except move at a walking pace, the passive shield ability seems to be togglable, but the arm shield is completely unusable while revving. So that's probably the best time to dish out some pain.
Mecha Break sounds like a fun game. Dare I say less "serious" than AC6? I haven't touched pvp in AC6 so I can't quite make the comparison yet. But we'll see. What's that intro song??
@@Zirythl So AC6 doesn't have much in the form of abilities(other than core expansion) like this game does. That's why I consider AC6 more serious because it generally comes down to skill. Down to the actual weapon stats and frame stats. But Mecha break seems to allow you to do cool things like missile spam from the abilities themselves. If the rumors are true and there is very limited customization with weapons and abilities, then it seems a bit less skill based than raw weapons, shields, and frame components. You still need to use skill for abilities but they seem tailored to be fun, powerful abilities. This game will also have a 48 player battle royale that seems more like a fun mode than serious competitive.
@@Frenzyshark Having customization doesn't necesarrily make it more serious, its more fine tuned but that leads to unbalance which I find the "fun" bit. Thats why many hero/character based games have simple kits like Moba's hero shooters etc and they utilize other means to make them unique like items albeit not that many which still comes back to my point of PVP centric games being simple.
@@Zirythl Mecha Break has a bit of exaggerated flair(which is fine) but it sounds like they didn't strive for competitive balance at least to the point of AC6(which still isn't perfect but I see their attempts to). I've seen at least one other video that was complaining about one of the units not being able to secure kills on its own. Not sure if other units are at that levels of in adequacies but my point is a player can't simply make that unit/kit work through sheer willpower. It requires the devs to make changes to the mech directly to get it up to snuff. But in AC6, you can literally change the parts/weapons to your liking so you're not forced to play an entire other unit to get what you want. The benefits of customization allows you to fine tune your setup that best fits your playstyle. That's why I consider it more serious if you're willing to take it that far. It's not entirely better or worse than hero setups. Just a different gameplay approach that's fine. I just think Mecha Break did a lot of thinking for you(at least at the fundamental level) and you have to do the rest.
Yeah, will be free to play, just wait to the next year, and the other good thing, that it will not be pay to win, the owner of this game has promised it
I got a feeling this will be the genji of the game
I need healing

The fact that one of the striker is painted everything white is ingenious
GIGA DRILLUH BREAAKAAAAAAAAAHH!!!
i love how her silhouette kinda similar with 00 gundam
Been waiting for panther vid. Thank you so muchh
O no im in the 6v6 match hahha. Inferno bullying
Is that someone named G5 Iguazu?
Yes it is! I went straight to the comment when i saw the callsign 😆
They’re an Alysnes main, great teammate to have
I get he has the lance but idk spamming the same attack looks boring. Alysnes looks the best so far
Hmm... A fast recharge Lance charge, Super Armor, fast on both speed and dashing, sounds like a certain Gundam that does all of that as well...
That lock on notification needs to be removed, it should give the option in the hud on what direction is the lock….
Dude, you had the perfect opportunity to put "Sorairo days" in the intro and you missed it...
I need this game now lol
Me too
Spark: Can you parry the charge?
All melee can be parried, other steamers said that is the weakness of Panther is if you get parried
This game looks beasty. Steam download?
Yeah ima just stick with AC6!
Dunno man from the looks seems kinda boring to me. Should be faster and have more high risk high reward style imo
Dude, its still in Alpha testing phase, not a full release yet. Be patience will ya.

Looks like ZOE
Cool OP mech behind gacha? An upgrade Cosmic-break 🎉
Nah, Panther would win.
literally

Guilty Gear Strive's theme song "Smell of the game".
I feel like this is more serious since this is made for pvp like overwatch unlike ac6 which is pve centric
