Many of you may not be familiar with Haidakhan Babaji. But to me, he is the spiritual figure I look up to the most. And in this video I want to share 4 stories of people who actually spent time with the master at his temple in India. And just to alert you to how important Haidakhan was, I consider him to be on the Mount Rushmore of ascended masters. If I had to pick 4, I would say him, St. Germain, Jesus and Buddha. Please don’t be offended if I left off an ascended master you resonate with. They’re all equally important to Earth. Let me just give you a little background on Haidakhan before getting to the stories.
Haidakhan lived in India between the years 1970 and 1984. He appeared in a cave one June day, seemingly out of nowhere, as none of the locals had ever seen him before. The people that saw him said he looked to be about 18 years old.
His followers report that starting in September 1970, Haidakhan sat in meditation for 45 straight days in a small temple without leaving his seat.
I first became knowledgeable about Haidakhan back in the 90s after reading the classic work, Nothing In This Book Is True, But It’s Exactly How Things Are, by Bob Frissell. I actually lent it to a friend recently, or else I’d show it to you. I immediately became intrigued upon reading the chapter on Haidakhan. There was just something about his picture and also the fact that he claimed to be the reincarnation of Hariakhan Babaji from Swami Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi.
In 1971, under sworn testimony, he said in court that he was the old Hariakhan Baba, who was active in the same region from 1860 to 1922. If he indeed is the reincarnation of Babaji from Yogananda’s book, there is no doubting his greatness. I made an entire video dedicated to the short life of Haidakhan Babaji, which you can watch here. I’ll also post it in the end screen of this video so you have it there too.
In 1984, as still a young man, Haidakhan left his body. The date he died was February 14,1980. Local sources said it was due to heart failure. I’m quite certain that Haidakhan had deliberately decided to leave his body, which is called mahsamadhi.
Before he died, Haidakhan said this: My body is meant to dry up one day. This body is nothing; it is here only to serve people. (…) Even my own body has come only to perform a duty to serve all human and all living things.
Haidakhan’s teachings can be distilled down to three main words: truth, simplicity and love. In the years since his passing, many people have stepped forward to talk about their meeting with this incredible ascended master.
Many made the long trek to the Himalayas to be his disciple. People from all over the world came to his ashram, even after his death, and many still go there today claiming they can feel his presence there.

I’ve been there, Haidakhan Ashram in 2009. Magical place where you DO feel his presence every minute you are there. We climbed Mt Kailash and walked the same path as Babaji. Life changing experience. His devotee, Ramloti, runs the Haidakhandi Universal Ashram in Crestone Colorado, also a magical place. He came here to teach us that the Divine Mother is our creator and how to worship her through the fire ceremonies. Truth, simplicity, & love. Om Namah shivaya!

We have a natural tendency to value and look for the stories and teachings from those of the past, who have already left their bodies. Nothing wrong with that, but we cannot forget that at this very moment other great beings/masters may be breathing the same air around us.

Haidakhan Babaji was an enlightened soul.. He was being poisoned by those living with him. He knew who they were. But they couldn't kill him. He chose when to go into mahasamadi.
Even long time before he had written in his diary or letter that poisoned laddu bhog would be given to him and knowing everything he had to eat ,महादेवहास his own way to come and go

Thank you for your wonderful video. Everything you said in your video I also learned since my first time to Harkhan (or Hiedekhan) same same in 2017. I was lucky like one of the featured accounts in your video to visit the Ashram in Harakhan which is about a 2 hr jeep ride from the city of Haldwani which is an 8 hr bus ride from Delhi where my plane from Las Vegas via LA landed in India. My fist visit was as member of a Sondra Ray group. She has been taking groups there for the past 40 years so when you mention you are with Sondra Group the locals respond because she has a presence there. To the arguments below about who's religion or who's way is the "right way" I say enough! Love everyone, yes everyone because we are all part of the oneness. I don't claim to know everything stated in the Bible, and I believe there is evidence for whatever you want to find in writings thousands of years old and written not by the main characters but are accounts of others passed to others ect.. like that. I keep it simple, I practice in the ways of Truth, Simplicity and Love plus the forth tenant Babaji talks about and directs us to engage in is "service" to others. I could go on and on about my incredible and surprising experience in that in 2017, I really thought my trip with Sondra Ray's group was going to be to take in the tourist spots for our time in India, I had zero knowledge I was on my way to an ashram to practice surrender and devotion. If I had know that I never would have agreed to go. And, I am forever changed as Man as a result of my first visit to Babaji's ashram in Harakhan. I found I was called there and it was home. One more quick note. Most of the visuals on this video are not of Baba's ashram in Harakhan as one other commenter mentions. The stories however are very much inline with what I have learned along the way. Om namah Shivaya, blessings to all Bole baba ki jae!

I recommend reading Babaji The Lightning Standing Still from Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath. In this book he talks of beings that although are highly spiritual beings are not THE Babaji, the direct manifestation of Shiva that would be named Goraksha Nath Babaji, or Shiva Goraksha Babaji, or Mahavatar Babaji that is being refered to in Autobiography of a Yogi.

Have you ever looked into Santos Bonnaci? The secret of secrets? The bible states that the kingdom of God is within us and the book of Thomas 13 dead sea scrolls (removed) says it's all around us. He does a great job pointing out how they're both right. I'm not religious whatsoever but the book just like the Quran holds many clues.

Babaji is a great master, but Buddha is the greatest master in the era (meaning that his teaching is known) that I live in. Buddha is the only one who explains how to liberate one self. For example, Buddha taught that the 5 aggregates manifests the illusion of me. Hence, I practice to see the 5 aggregates on the airplane. 3 hours later, upon landing the experience of non-duality happened and lasted for one hour long. All other masters teach you in metaphor. Jesus said to be like a little child in order to enter kingdom of god (nirvana). Babaji teaches karma yoga but in the interim the 5 aggregates can confuse the illusory self. Buddha explained how the illusion of self happens so that we can liberate ourselves within instantaneously to few years instead of a lifetime or few lifetimes. It is about teaching how it works.
He is now reincarnate as Dashara Giri Maharaja

Yogananda said the heart can stop for some time, even for a significant time, during Nirvikalpa Samadhi. How do we know Haidakhan Babaji had died ? What is the difference between Nirvikalpa and Mahasamadhi if the body remains uncorrupted and complexion is fresh, as is the case with some saints also ? I
I'd like to make just a couple of general observations. Firstly, I am uncomfortable when people are worshipped and put on a pedestal. Gurus and teachers are wonderful to have access to but I don't understand how it's in any way a good thing to effectively give up ones life to follow someone you revere, hanging on every word they say, spending most of your time in devotion to them. For what? Secondly, why is it none of these ascended masters are ever female?
India has scores of spiritual giants who were women. At the apex is Anandamayi maa. Often called the living Kali

You have loads of inaccuacies in your story. Firstly, He is not an ascended master... this a made up western term. He is the Avatar. In sanskrit it means Divinity descending into flesh. 'Ascended Master' is a man who realises his God nature. 2. He took Mahasamdhi in 1984 not 1980. 3. 'Autobiography of a Yogi' by Sri Yogananda never mentioned Hairakhan Babaji, it mentions MahaAvatar Babaji ( btw. Haidakhan Babaji said this book was 90% fiction) ....the same Being many call Haidakhan Babaji. Chilanoula was not buit until 1980 by Sri Muniraji, and is built of marble. Muniraji was Babaji's chief Disciple. The temple referenced in 'Auto. Of a Yogi' was crystal palace manifested out of thin air by MahaAvatar Babji for Sri Yuktestwar. AUM Namaha Shivaya. AUM Haidakhandi.

Mahaavatar Babaji, Hariakhan baba, and Bengali Baba are three different Babajis. There’s no relation to the Babaji in Autobiography of a yogi and Haidakhan Babaji. Mahaavatar Babaji is immortal and doesn’t take rebirth. Babaji is a common name of reverence in India. Im there now and in the lineage of Mahaavatar Babaji.

Why did Haidakhan Babaji gain weight? I thought people like him didnt need or want toe at much. Same with yogananda and others.
In the end he had a really Belly. Somebody told me it is because of all the karma he took from other in his body. His body was only to serve. He took all the poison of his devotees.
