I never knew my mum, passed away in delivery room 15 minutes after giving birth to me, as an only child, only in pictures n videos are the closest l got, this guy passionate longing for the lost memories of his family are truly amazing n heartbreaking. His soulful renditions really expressed his own personal tragedy defined losing the people that matters most to you.
For the singer at least he is fortunate enough to got to felt n embraced the maternal warmth of a motherly love.
Wish l got his opportunity but life got to moves on, irrespective of circumstances you in.

There is one more thing which is often overlooked. There is one powerful word, which he only used once in the whole song. The very last word of the song.. Ibu=mom. I was listening to this song while driving, the part where andmesh said something about his mom cooking and when he said i love you mom, somehow i missed it. So when i heard IBU at the end..goosebumps all over.. I was in awe, shocked, overwhelmed, disbelief, you name it. Best twist in a song ever.

Song based on true story. Andmesh, East Nusa Tenggara man. One of province in east Indonesia. He faced 3 death in his life. His dad, his big sister, and his mom. OMG this song touch my deepest heart and always warm my eyes. He miss them so much and wrote this song in only 15 minutes and the song is very amazing and covered by all around people in the world..
