Great Work Sanjay. Very useful tool, making automation testers life easy in finding CSS selectors, Xpath and few others . There was time 2+ years ago we use to spend time in find JS path for shadow elements and nested shadow elements. Now with this tool we can find easily. Thanks for the innovation. Would like to explore more with the tool as and when new features are introduced.

Looks really good! What is the different between ChroPath to this product? it looks very simillar
I have stopped development and support on chropath. There are n number of difference between chropath and SelectorsHub like SelectorsHub has smart editor, error handling, shadow dom support, axes xpath, index xpath, relative cssSelector, JS Path, JQuery and a lot more features.

Hey Sanjay, What is the difference between an SH selector and a css selector?
SH selector is the better cssSelector for the xpath/cssSelector which you are verifying in SelectorsHub while auto generated cssSelector is for the inspected element. To learn more about SH selector please watch this tutorial-

Hi Sanjay, fantastic tool and work. Just a query, how do the tool identifies an id to be dynamic, because I find an element to be static,ie on refresh or on new session the id remains same, but SH is suggesting the id to be dynamic. Just curious why SH is suggesting the element to be dynamic.
If value will be alphanumeric then it will suggest that it could be dynamic, now it’s leaving the decision on user wether user want to generate with that or not. There is no algorithm which can tell that ‘abc123’ dynamic or static. It can be static for one but dynamic for others.

I am using this selectors hub for finding the xpath in chrome downloads. A scenario where I need to validate the name of the downloaded file. It is working in all other pages but I navigated to chrome downloads and inspected the element but in the menu list I could not see the selector's hub menu. Can you please help me on this asap?
