XPath (XML Path Language) is a query language for selecting nodes from an XML document.
Or in other words, XPath is a query language for finding elements in an HTML web page.

In the xpath and css selector comparison table towards the end of the video, u have used ends-with function in xpath... Is ends-with function really available? Only starts-with function is possible right?
Yes, you are right
There is a function called ends-with in xpath version 2. but usually browsers are not supporting that version.
All the browsers support xpath version 1 only.
So that means we cant use this function until browsers are updated with latest xpath version

no it wont work in code, that means we cant use it either.
I have just mentioned it to show the equivalent counter part of css selector.

I find this interesting, Edureka always say css selector is quicker than xpath but this shows the opposite
