There is so much Big Push you would love.. Try their War Pigs cover (same set), Paint it Black (also same set), Praise you, Englishman in New York, Wade in the Water, Johny B Goode.. and many more!! They are really good!!
Great reaction. This is actually a mash up of four songs: Hip Hop by Dead Prez, A Little Bit Of Luck by DJ Luck & MC Neat, Road To Zion by Damian Marley/NAS and I Shot The Sheriff by Bob Marley. Such a brilliant interpretation and performance.
They're on hiatus because Ren had to go to Canada, to undergo a range of experimental treatments, in an attempt to repair some of the damage to his body and brain. The other members also had things planned in various parts of the World. They are planning to do more things together but as their solo careers are taking off, it will probably be sporadic, rather than full-time. They'd also need to find a new drummer, as Glenn is moving to Australia. Or Ren could just do the drum parts, as necessary, as he did before they decided to look for a full-time drummer, so that Ren could stay up-front all the time. :)
So good. Romain can sing too, he has a silky smooth voice and it matches his guitar playing. Ren just surrounds himself with so much talent to compliment his own.
Wait till you hear Romain do Georgia on My Mind - incredible. It's on his personal channel. All 3 of them were busking individually when they came together to create The Big Push - and they all continued their individual work while they were together. That creates a very strong, flexible group...
You have to check out the Big Push doing "These Boots were made for walking, Satisfaction & Everybody" plus "Praise You" (Fatboy Slim cover) & Englishman in New York (live).
You should watch his Manu Chau cover of Bongo Bong, he actually managed to improve it somehow! Also Ren and Chinchilla sing Chalk Outlines or How to be Me is stunning. They have such an amazing connection and Chichilla has an incredible voice too!
"Watch Out" Live Busking (the picture which popped up at the end), an original is absolutely fire. The connection with the audience is breathtaking. Take the version with 1.3 million subs. ☀🌧🌈
I’ve watched this video of The Big Push well over 100 times. One of my favorites on TH-cam. The vibe, musicianship, and vocals are an experience. Watching reactions like yours is why I still watch them. I was smiling right along with you. Thanks for sharing.
Ren has become my favorite artists out there. This old hippie is fast becoming a rap fan. Ren is pure talent. Ren has years of material for you to check out. Peace ✌️
Romain Axisa is a fantastic guitarist and singer in his own right. All the Big Push guys are wonderful. Their cover of Praise You is totally transformed and has Beatlesy vibes to me.
Romaine Axisis is the guitarist, and you absolutely must react to his on the streets performance of Georgia on my mind. Think you will be blown away by it. His playing is truly world class and I think his singing will be a genuine surprise too. He's superb 👌. Thanks for your reaction to this one. 😊
@@williamkeith8740 i agree. But I already knew he was a great guitar player. His singing was what really surprised me. He hes so much blues in his soul.
Idk why bro but I want to give you a hug haha 😂 his music just makes me so happy too. And to see you appreciate it so much Is great. I feel this way whenever people find a connection to good music but either way much love brother, thanks for sharing your experience with us. ✌️ With a little bit of love we can make it through the night.
When they circle back it's almost like when a chord progression returns home, but in a bigger sense. It satisfies your brain and gives you that cue that it's over, that it's nicely finished off. It's like coffee at the end of a three course meal.
Great reaction m8, you have just entered The Big Push rabbit hole. So much great music to explore. All great musicians and so much good chemistry between the guys. All the best from the UK
Love the reaction. Ren always seems to collaborate with amazing talent. While I am currently obsessed with Ren & Eden Nash, this is my favorite Big Push medley. They're great, and all the busking of this (red suspender) day are stellar. Their "War Pigs" (medley of Black Sabbath songs and a touch of Rage Against the Machine) is also worth a watch. My personal preferences lead me to love their covers of Buzzcocks' "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)" and Joy Division "Love will tear us apart," and it's quick to hear their touch on all they do.
To make one song flow into another like this is not normal. I've only experienced from Pink Floyd and The Grateful Dead. Welcome to the RENaissance. Try The Big Push live rooftop performance of Bongo Bong! You will not be disappointed.
As much as you're enjoying him do Marley, You have to see them do the song that followed after this where they did War Pigs from Black Sabbath. Unbelievable.... it's just magic.
There's nothing like Busking to build your performance skills and these guys are all individually skilled and very professional. I agree; it's really crappy timing that they disbanded just before Ren's work really took off and they started to get way more views- but that was only about a year ago. All this on a street corner - for Free!? When I can seriously see this going off in a large Stadium. I gather most are now exploring individual careers and so we should all go look them up and show their individual sites some love.😍 Perhaps also when they see that their individual work is getting recognition, they will be open to joining up again?! If only for a few performances per year??? Fingers Crossed! Meanwhile... Ren! OMG! When you scan across ; Hi Ren, The Jenny, Screech & Violet Trilogy, Losing It and then THIS!? The breadth of his skill set is just gobsmacking, and I guess he'll just keep surprising us! To think he was still selling CD's out the back of a mates car behind his venues - Wot?- less than 2 years ago?! And THEN you think about organisations like Netflix throwing $100 > $150 Mill at talentless Plonkers like The Sussex's for a couple of eminently forgettable podcasts!!! ... The teeth just grind! I don't know... Someone said he's now signed somewhere? Where-ever - it'd BETTER be with total Artistic Independence - RIGHT! Give him a solid financial base and then let him Fly. Bated breath for the burgeoning career of New Bard. 😄
"Damn it Ren..." You are so correct Sir, he is a true gem. So from what I know, Ren really started out Busking in Brighton, I believe he is from Wales originally. I have come to appreciate him as a Modern Day Bard, such a talented guy.
Outstanding performance and review, one of the many highlights for me is the overall context of these 4 songs fits together lyrically as if it were one song ; a journey through 70's 80's 90's 00's social justice movements.
I'm loving this journey with you. Two more good ones from this street session are "War Pigs" and then "Paint It Black" where it is the first time I saw Ren on a bass and he shreds it...
Great reaction! I am always surprised and amazed at the way that Ren and TBP are able to mix mashups, add nods to other artist and leave Easter Eggs throughout their videos to find. If you like Romain and Gorran, they both have solo materiel on youtube as well. Romain has been adding materiel on a regular basis and I really enjoy his solo work. Ren will be dropping a new track this week on you tube and he recently added a notification page for it, so don't forget to turn the notification on for Love Music 4. They do not really need to be watched in a particular order since it's not an ongoing story like Jenny and Screech. The first three are all a bit different from each other but all 3 are energizing and fun! Great tracks, all 3. I'm really looking forward to the new release.
Great reaction my friend. I was lucky enough to see Romain live in London last week. He is also an awesome singer and musician. Do check out some of his solo releases from his channel too. His solo busking cover of Georgia On My Mind (Ray Charles cover)is one of my favs: th-cam.com/video/1gRjxv0SaSc/w-d-xo.html
Hi there. Yes, I definitely will. Already have one lined up to react to. Just need to work through some other reactions before I can get to it. Hang in there, many more to come. Thanks for the listen.
Hello. I never get tired of this performance and great people reacting to it. Love The Big Push and every wondrous work they made together. Magic really and I loved your smiles and your eyes lighting up. I’m there with you sir. A great reactor reminds me of when I first experienced Ren and his people and that is quite special. This remains a big favourite from THE BIG PUSH. Cheers and thanks heaps🙏🏽❤
I’m an oldie too - have enjoyed music from the 50s onward - all genres (aren’t we lucky?) I found REN about 4 months ago and have followed all of his music since.. including The Big Push and his collaborations with others in Brighton. I think you’ll enjoy any/all of The Big Push songs (covers and original).. his duets with Chinchilla, Sam and others, are all amazing. I now follow two of the three in this band for their original stuff too. Please listen to the next song in this set - their cover of War Pigs, which is also a mash-up that you’ll enjoy!! Continue down the Ren rabbit-hole - it’s tons of fun!! Thanks for your reaction - enjoyed it!
Dude love ur reactions bro, know u don’t know me from Adam but please trust me the cover of Paint It Black from the stones at the end of this same set is lethal!! Please check it out pal, u r from same era as me and I know for a fact u will love it, even if u don’t react to it check it out bro, proper show ender!! 👊🏼👍🏼
It wouldn't be a big risk doing that one. I'm sure it's amazing. I'll bookmark it and try to get to it sooner than later. Have a number of reactions to work through first. Thanks!
You say Ren does it to you every time, but it looks like you've only done 3 songs of his? You'll love the rest of this same performance: "Watch Out" is an original, then after this set they do "War Pigs," which is actually also a medley, and their rendition of "Paint it Black" is top-shelf. You should take down the gofundme link, Ren's shut it down and has enough $ now for all his treatment, plus some. You can probably verify that from his page, he's also said so in interviews.
I have something special for you: Emma KOK singing Voilà th-cam.com/video/KdIhq1tb8Co/w-d-xo.html She is a gem. I have discovered her seeing that YT video after one week being online has almost 5 million views. I am watching this video on repeat Yesterday it had 4.8 million views and today over 6 million, wow!
Englishman in New York, Praise You, and Bongo Bong are must as well!!!
I second that 🙂
War Pigs from the show is Great Also!!
Try The Big Push's cover of the Manu Chao song "Bongo Bong". It's a vibe.
Ren er som altid fantastisk, hatten af for Ren, han omgiver sig kun med talent.
Hell Yeah!!! Ren Rocks!!!
Ren è incredibile, tocca molti generi musicali. E i ragazzi con i quali suona, sono incredibili anche loro! Talento puro!👍🏼💪🏼
There is so much Big Push you would love.. Try their War Pigs cover (same set), Paint it Black (also same set), Praise you, Englishman in New York, Wade in the Water, Johny B Goode.. and many more!! They are really good!!
All good suggestions! I would add Swan Song that, its a bit of a hidden gem.
Swan Song is absolutely incredible!
Watch them do Roadhouse Blues, the video where Goran is wearing a black shirt is best 😁
Well, if that didn't get your Monday going, I don't know what would. He sure had his audience going.
At the same outdoor concert-their cover of War Pigs will arouse your glee with Romaine.
And "Paint it Black" ...
They're on hiatus because Ren had to go to Canada, to undergo a range of experimental treatments, in an attempt to repair some of the damage to his body and brain. I was lucky enough to see Romain Live in London last week. What a fantastic musician he is!!
If you want some Romain Axisa solo busking, check out his cover of "Georgia on my Mind". He kills it.
This is the guy who played the guitar solo Romain Axisa - 75 Beats Per Minute th-cam.com/video/e653b_fBb-M/w-d-xo.html
Romain axisa is a beast. Peace ✌️
OK Englishman in NY Sting cover next please😁
The Big Push is so much fun!
❤ These guys were all cut from the same cloth.
Lovely to see how much you enjoyed that. Aren't they all just so great
Their transitions are spectacular!!!
So good. Romain can sing too, he has a silky smooth voice and it matches his guitar playing. Ren just surrounds himself with so much talent to compliment his own.

They're so tight!
You'll love their cover of War Pigs (etc, it's a medley) from the same performance. Romain Axisa is a damn fine guitarist!
You have to check out the Big Push doing "These Boots were made for walking, Satisfaction & Everybody" plus "Praise You" (Fatboy Slim cover) & Englishman in New York (live).
Watch the Big Push do their version of Bongo Bong. (Live but not in front of an audience)
Dang I should've checked the comments first. Thanks man I just recommended Bongo Bong! What a wonderful cover.
You should watch his Manu Chau cover of Bongo Bong, he actually managed to improve it somehow!
Also Ren and Chinchilla sing Chalk Outlines or How to be Me is stunning. They have such an amazing connection and Chichilla has an incredible voice too!

Outrageously good performance, and Romain on guitar what a joy.
Ahhh my fave artist and my fave performance by TBP! Never gets old. I love when Ren gets in his reggae bag and I love his scatting 🖤
Romaine Axisis is the guitarist, and you absolutely must react to his on the streets performance of Georgia on my mind. Think you will be blown away by it. His playing is truly world class and I think his singing will be a genuine surprise too. He's superb 👌.

So glad you did this one! I never get tired of it, just a masterpiece performance❤Thank you! So much Big Push for you to discover😊
the Boomtown Rats wrote a song in the 80's called "I don't like Mondays", we've all been there.
When they circle back it's almost like when a chord progression returns home, but in a bigger sense. It satisfies your brain and gives you that cue that it's over, that it's nicely finished off. It's like coffee at the end of a three course meal.
"Bongo Bong " is a nice fun track by them.
New Level of Ren Unleashed!!!
Every time.
You will be blown away *every* time.
