Yes, she will talk about food before any meal time. She also talks about it at other times too. Basically, she talks about anything she wants to talk about anytime she wants! :)
The people who "dislike" Einstein's videos should be frowned upon. Einstein the parrot is smart, sweet, and hilarous. HOW COULD PEOPLE DISLIKE THESE VIDEOS???
brockel is way better a name than broccoli,,,, broccoli sounds bacterial like b coli,,, it's hard to say and doesn't roll off the TOUNGE, I bet if brockel was on the menu it would outsell broccoli.
She is truly amazing and adorable! She's better company that a lot of people! You have done a fabulous job with her and clearly she is surrounded by lots of TLC, patience and attention - not to mention having a family who are brilliant trainers! She makes me happy! Thanks for sharing your lovable, entertaining Einstein.
Einstein is just adorable and brilliant, too. He’s getting chubby! ‘Love him and his devoted parents... a beautiful family. Thank you for sharing him with us all.
I often play Einstein's videos for my grey. Lucy now makes the yawning sound and asks "Where's Jeff?" and "Marcia." My husband came home one day and asked "who are Jeff and Marcia?"!
We are working on colors. She says green, purple, and red. But not on cue when I hold up a color in front of her. Your "Weiner" story is hilarious! and... I'm not a bit surprised! I find, whatever amuses us, they are always eager to entertain!
My Grey has 2 video's on you-tube but the minute I start filming him he is more interested in the camera that he won't talk or act himself. I am going to start using the camera more often to get him use to it. He is 30 years old and very smart and a talker.
This bird is SO amazing! I bet it took a long time to teach the bird to talk like that! I want to have a bird one day when I have the time to spend with it!
@hnh1384 No, parrots talk when they want and there is nothing you can do to keep them quiet. I tried taking a nap the other day and she talked for 1 1/2 hours! No nap for me! When in her cage, at night with a cover over her cage she is quiet until the sun comes up. Then she wants out and is a chatty bird!
@Redman5175 You are VERY WISE in understanding how much time, money and energy a parrot takes! Enjoy Einstein and let me take care of everything else! :) We are happy to do so and share Einstein in the process!
@SailorBalance Good Question! I don't know. Birds like to make noise. Whether it's chirps or words. I think she is just vocalizing what come naturally - what she has learned.
This video is the BEST of his performances that I have watched and I have watched a lot, It is the best because he is practicing and going through his repertoire mostly without any prompting from his family or a trainer. Also, his sequence of word strings seems to be logical and pertinent and not random. The most impressive so far is hearing him count to TEN AMAZING bird
Dear Einstein what a delight you are. I'm checking in with you daily now {i think your helping my sanity in these mad months] it's either that or I'm losing it.xxxx
@TheLovemeorgo No, this Einstein is alive and well. In fact we just made a video yesterday. (Ringtones for Avian Charities - March Drawing) The one you are thinking about was a parrot named Alex and he was once referred to as "The Einstein of Parrots" on a TV program.
Thank you so much for sharing these! We had two African Greys, a male and female, both rescues. We thought the male was in his 20s, but it turned out he was in his 40s and passed away a few months ago. When my boyfriend and I started dating, I worked from home and just right off the bat wanted to move my office to his place so that I could hang out with his birds during the day. They do require a lot of time and attention.. but goodness, are they worth it! Thanks again :)
@BigDLuis She's quiet some of the day. also when eating and napping. Learning time varies. Sometime right away. with in a few days, sometimes months, sometimes never. She decides when to talk and what she will say.
That's the spookiest, most wonderful thing I've seen in ages. Wow. Interesting how the voices change as she imitates a woman and then a man. And knowing the names of all the foods that are handed to her! Drink a water.... see ya later!
My two boys and my wife and I all love Einstein! We are all stuck on the "Sweetie, you know what? Here's some grapes!" I think we are the parrots as we mimic her lines a little too much! LOL "Got to go to work!" Another favorite of ours! WE LOVE Einstein!! Now eat your corn darn it!
@Twixittles They would pick up words that are said in their environment. For example, the dogs name, when you called your dog. But, parrots are such social creatures I would never think of not talking to it directly.
@mortonsalt18 Thank you! They are a very big commitment. Before you buy a parrot do some reading and research. They are like having a 2 year old child for the rest of your life. Best part.. Companionship. However, you MUST spend time with them. Make them part of the family.
Just can't get enough of Einstein! Please post more videos!!! Very funny that on your YT web site tonight, the default video in which Einstein says, "Look at you...you'll all wet," is juxtaposed to an ad about owning a swimming pool. Einstein seems to be talking to the guy in the pool! Loved it! LOL!
Indeed they do! Alex the African Grey was a major part of Dr. Pepperburg avian psychology research project. For 30 years she trained him so he understood colors and shapes and could do critical thinking problems. There is plenty of info on the web if you want to look him up.
My grey Zazu loves your videos and has me in fits of laughter copying Jeff when he's says "sorry, sorry" to Einstein. He also shouts "want to take a shower!" followed by "gotta go to work!"
It's fascinating parrots can not simply repeat words, but repeat them with the same voice and intonation, they even can repeat just sounds of environmen, like water flowing.
Emily Newkirk parrots actually associate words with circumstance and know what the mean. Example is that you said cat in a phrase a the bird knew from previous experience that 'cat' = 'meow'
@summer817 Thanks! You are so right! Many people don't realize the commitment it takes to raise a parrot. I like to say that it is very much like raising a child. It takes time, patience, money, more patience, nurturing, and lots of love!!! Einstein is not allowed to roam. We take her to various perches in the house. She does have a cage. She is only in it at night or when we humans must leave the house. You may want to visit her website. Link is in the comments section.
Hi einstein gd pm all of you your so fantastic birdy you know you make me happy , ilike your voice very much its me again amy N cuenca frm phlippines , au rovoir ..!
@BlazingDragons7 African Greys are known to be good mimics. She simply heard the sound of a drain or pouring something in a glass and started repeating the sound. Search "how do parrots mimic sound" for more information.
Sorry, but I don't sell videos of Einstein. The reason why... a video of her will not teach your birds to talk. I suggest you talk to them, interact with them. If they choose to talk they will. There is no way you can make a parrot talk if it has no desire to talk.
The first 25 seconds were incredible I've always wanted my dog to say "good morning" when I see her rather than her jumping on my bed and slobbering everywhere! Ahh well, I suppose they're the same ! :)
Oh, how I simply ADORE your precious Einstein and I NEVER ever tire of his delightful videos...Last night I couldn't stop giggling while I was preparing a quick dinner for my son as it included stir fried "Brocc-el".... Haha...Seriously, I think Einstein's occasional version of *broccoli* is absolutely PRECIOUS. The remarkable intelligence of what's essentially a wild animal[tamed by your tender Loving care & infinite patience] just literally AWES me & makes me appreciate Nature all the more...
Yes, she will talk about food before any meal time. She also talks about it at other times too. Basically, she talks about anything she wants to talk about anytime she wants! :)

probably think its cruel for any bird to be captive

I love how he does the water noise, its soooo cool. 🖤🐦
I can just eat him up. Too darn adorable
I love your parrot. He prompts himself to imitate things. He's his own best entertainment!!! Can't get enough of him!
I often play Einstein's videos for my grey.
Lucy now makes the yawning sound and asks "Where's Jeff?" and "Marcia." My husband came home one day and asked "who are Jeff and Marcia?"!
Einstein just turned 13 years old.
Einstein Parrot how did Einstein learn your name?
We are working on colors. She says green, purple, and red. But not on cue when I hold up a color in front of her. Your "Weiner" story is hilarious! and... I'm not a bit surprised! I find, whatever amuses us, they are always eager to entertain!
Love when you dance and sing ❤ Einstein
Love the expression in his speech its so cute. You don't know what he is going to say next.
This parrot is the best :D I mean, it's amazing how it can amazingly know when to use what words it knows. It's just so adorable!
Sweet, sweet, sweet!
You are adorable. Love when you say, “It’s gooood,” your wave, well, just all of you! Love you.
You start my day just right . Happy.

I find myself keep coming bac, at least once a day I have to watch this again. She is the most precious adorable thing!
That awesome move - "see ya later" - she does at the end. That is my all time favorite dance move you do Einstein! Your personality just shines.
This bird is SO amazing! I bet it took a long time to teach the bird to talk like that! I want to have a bird one day when I have the time to spend with it!
That was so amazing. Einstein made me lol at times.
Always made me smile when I feel sad
Omg he's so cute and smart.

So far she has not, but we do watch what we say and try not to say anything "bad". :)
Good morning 👋👋👋
She is so lucky to have you as parents. She gets so much love and attention.
Aww, sweet Angel Prince
I estimate a very long time. My father passed away in 2002 and she still will say his name if we begin to talk about him.
you can tell this bird is very loved. I really enjoy watching all the videos.
That bird is amazing!
i just love, love, love watching Einstein!!! thanks for posting,, hope u post more new ones ;-)

THANK YOU!!!! I just love Einstein. Thank you so much for sharing her! There are several expressions that I cannot say without thinking of her! LOL

Never heard him say the number 8. He usually skips 2 and 8.
@xDestroyedHearts Yes! absolutely! There are Eclectus parrots on TH-cam! Do a search. Do an internet search for more information.
"WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?"

I love this Pretty gal
OMG! I love how she says morning!
Einstein's adorable!!
It's fascinating parrots can not simply repeat words, but repeat them with the same voice and intonation, they even can repeat just sounds of environmen, like water flowing.
It may be a coincidence but I said something about a cat around my friends parrot one time, and the parrot started meowing
Emily Newkirk parrots actually associate words with circumstance and know what the mean. Example is that you said cat in a phrase a the bird knew from previous experience that 'cat' = 'meow'
+jeweliarex my parakeet know how to say no and when I ask her a question she says no to everything lol
Yeah your right my parrot copy's my dogs barking and all the time my family think it's my dog at the neighbors house barking naught parrot XD
What a little chatterbox! Really enjoy these videos!
