How was this 4 weeks ago?
I was lied to about why I was being fired, saying I wasn't helping with closing duties at a crappy deli. They forgot there was a camera looking at me where I was cleaning something up when they tried to deny my unemployment. Another guy quit after I was fired right before their ham rush. Teehee.
I've worked with someone who FELl ASLEEP, on STAIRS, multiple times, who it took MONTHS to get fired!
And there are people getting fired for actually doing their job?!
For story 17 that sounds like an invasion of privacy
MASSIVE invasion. I would have turned around and fired a lawsuit straight at their HR team.
I don’t know if this was technically on the spot but I was fired after a total of 11 hours working at Sonic
I was in high school and it was my first ever job. They fired me because I was ‘too slow of a worker and learner. Mind you I was trying to go fast, I was just brand new to working and barely knew what I was doing.
As of now it’s the only time I’ve been fired and I still think it’s the stupidest reason to be fired
That personal email one is illegal.
Where did that guy get e-mails from a personal account? That sounds like stepping beyond the bounds lawsuit.
When I worked at Taco Bell, I was in training and I got fired after 3 days of working
And their reason?
"We can't have a neurodivergent girl who talks about Spider-Man"
I got in trouble because I said "Spider-Charlie"
(I'm not kidding)
They pulled me into the office and told me I'm not a good fit because my ADHD personality isn't what they need
I'm a reliable employee but no, they lost a reliable employee.
I got upset and later I got hired at a different place and even now when I go to Taco Bell I'm often given weird looks by the managers and employees
They don't acknowledge me whatsoever
(I stopped going afterwards)
Definitely wrongful firing.
@@s.h.6858 agreed, I tried to protest but they refused
I want steak with some red in it.
14:51 i do not agree. I worked for company who is sole provider of beef for UK Greegs, and McDonald for example, and cant say bad word, also can tell you that McDonald contain at minimum 85% pure beef meet in it
you can get fired just because someone doesnt like you. the workplace is their heaven and nothing will get in the way of that.
I was fired on the spot on Christmas day in hospital bed bia text. But the jokes on that guy he got fired and i got unemployment.
