no because my friends doll actually asked us where we lived and what was our parents name, it didn't sound like her voice though it sounded like a grown man, we told her parents and they didn't believe us but i still hold on to that memory

I think Disney saying that they didn't "allow" the company for the mentions is complete bullshit. They knew exactly what they were doing.
Naw, it's totally legit that they said it. And it was the honest truth.... It's all about the words that you chose to use. Being calculated is how you become one of the most powerful brands the world has ever known. They didn't allow it, just like they said. They also didn't _stop_ it. Disney almost certainly knew full well, and perhaps there were secret backroom negotiations, and absolutely the toy maker got some monetary benefit. It would be something like, "Here's a shit ton of investment money, funneled though offshore investment funds paid by a labyrinth of shell companies, we're just here to invest in quality toys. If you chose to prioritize undisclosed Disney product placement, that is entirely up to you. We certainly wouldn't stop you, but far be it for us to tell you what to do with your new product. We know this money is vital to its success, we're only here to help." Plausible deniability is a real thing. IF Disney were really truly not in the loop, don't you think they would have sued the company out of existence? Just to get their name as far away from it as possible? It would have been unnoticeable to their bottom line to have done so. They knew. People just didn't ask the right question.
You know it’s a huge red flag when a mass-produced children’s toy uses the GoAnimate Ivy TTS voice.

This doll requires a smartphone to do any of this, I don't think that this doll can cause more harm than the smartphone those kids already have access to.
The only reason why this was banned is because the government was just mad that someone else was beating them at their own game 😂
I had this and broke the arms and legs of it with my sister and then my grandma is like WTH why would you do that I be like 👍 ( this happened back in 2016 )
