The FDA went after Juul too hard. If they hadn't banned fruit flavored pods then there wouldn't be nearly the issue of all the batteries.
They are not that good of a battery, you shouldn't be so concerned if the battery is still good when these disposables dry out/vaped up. An 18650 battery lasts 6 months, the battery in disposables is pretty much toast when the disposable is all vaped up dry.

They didn’t ban juul tho. It’s still being sold. I still smoke juul pods everyday. They said they’d ban it like 4 times in the past couple years and everyone around me including my bf switched to other vapes but I decided to keep using juul until they stopped selling in stores. But they never did. So I’m still here hitting my juul. Yea they banned the flavors but I prefer Virginia tobacco over flavors
Banning vapes for flavor might make alot more sense if I couldn't go to the grocery store and buy cotton candy vodka....

Banning vaping and pushing it to 21 only made more kids vape. Its called FOMO. Fear of missing out. Now that its EVEN HARDER for kids to get vapes, they are doing it more to look even cooler. By that I mean it got harder for them to buy vapes but in turn made it easier for them to get their hands on them. Reverse psychology. You want kids to stop binge drinking and vaping? Move the age of alcohol and tobacco to 18. Desensitize them. Make it normal and they probably wont do it as much. This is why kids in Britain don't go around drinking all the time because they can smoke and drink at 18. They arent treated like babies so they have a higher standard they hold themselves too. That's what's wrong with America. We treat 18-20 year olds like little kids and in turn makes them act like them. While 16 year olds in Britain are working full time jobs 20 year olds in America are getting drunk and partying.
As sad as the vape epidemic is, as a kid that started with Juul later moving to puff and the round variations that came quickly after then to other brands like esco, Pablo, novo, many others as well. I saw the innovation happening in front of me, obviously this wasn’t because of consumers but were attempts to stay legal, it was crazy tho, started with juul using a different wicking system, then puff bar with the cotton soaked wick style which proceeded for multiple generations until about a year ago when it came out that this system was prone to burning the wick and cotton, they quickly changed to a “mesh” coil (Ifykyk it’s not really a mesh coil”) which burns it less lol…

puff bars were so popular my 8th/freshman year that we just called most vapes puff bars , some people would just ask "can i hit ur puffy" lol
I started vaping when I was 14... My mom bought it for me. She was just glad I was trying something to get off cigarettes. The product certainly wasnt directed towards kids; I had to search for it.

I've never had Alcohol that tasted the same level of fruity as a vape - where it had no hints of Alcohol.
Not all Vapes have major flavors or Nicotine but the Ease of Access to Vapes make Nicotine or whatever harmful Chemicals far more dangerous for the user.
Especially when it's new and we don't have research or studies on vapes or the way the chemicals effect our bodies.
Whenever people compare vape flavors to alcohol flavors It makes me assume you've never had experience with what you're talking about, or are just using it as a reason why Government is bad and why people should keep smoking..

Obviously it’s not comparable in terms of effects but it is comparable in terms of minor’s consumption. Minors will drink. Minors will smoke weed. Minors will vape/smoke cigarettes etc. Regardless of flavors or advertising. All I’m saying is that why not ban flavored alcohol at this point? Alcohol kills 100k+ people of all ages PER YEAR, yet vapes have have been associated with ~70 deaths as of 2020, and most of those deaths were from unregulated thc vapes which actually had dangerous chemicals that directly affected the respiratory system. Regulated ejuice is made in an ISO certified lab with a ~5 ingredients (propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, nicotine, flavorings) it’s not safe or healthy, but ejuice isn’t killing people or damaging lives at the rate like alcohol does.
This whole flavor ban is absolutely useless and ineffective anyways. Minors are just buying it online lol
I use to use these all the time after juul banned flavors. from having to switch to 3rd party pods these where great as they lasted longer. I switched to actual systems after a while but, in all reality as an adult who got off cigs with juul its entirely dumb to ban flavors when I can get flavored alcohol. when I was a teen we all used vapes or smoked cigs. only difference was we had those tiny stick systems like the e-go stick, aspire, etc. age restrictions did nothing to stop us as well frankly totes never had someone of age to buy them and did it myself for a bit of side cash when I was of age. honestly though disposables should just be banned as they aren't really disposable at all

@@jcruz5050this is why I support the UK’s decision on banning disposable vapes over here. They’re horrible for the environment (batteries and plastics) and are so wasteful of materials. Not only that, they are trying to stop young kids from vaping as I’ve seen far too many kids (11 year olds, not joking) who are vaping. I think that if people want to vape, they will have to wait till 18 to buy a PROPER one (box mod, coils and e liquid). Furthermore, as you have already stated, it is so much cheaper than spending £6-20 or $12-25 every 2-3 days on a new vape.

I use a pod sys or a box mod instead of disposables. Safe American-made e-liquids and less waste. Also, they are significantly less appealing to teens since they are only available in vape shops.

The owners were these Pakistani brothers- they found a wholesaler in china that made the vapes , branded them as puff bars then got super rich and left the country after making millions. Leaving puff to be manufactured by anybody who wanted to sell them. That’s some inside intel for ya brotha 💪 great video !

This notion that vape brands like this were marketing to kids is an assumption and is not demonstrated by the facts. Are you suggesting that flavored condoms are marketing to children? Sure, children should use them if they need them, but is that really the *target* audience? Of course not. So let's not just assert that the mere presence of yummy flavored vapes means they're marketing to children. It's asinine. Btw, I'm literally vaping a Philippine brand called Cakes, Ice Cream and Strawberry flavor. It's delicious and were I forced to just vape some bland awful tobacco flavor or whatever, I'd hate it and go back to a worse alternative, like smoking.

It’s not just the issues you had pointed out, with all these different brands, the quality of the liquid, and the durability of the coils, is a big factor in determining the negative health effects.
Also, the amount of their packaging and batteries that are littering the streets, is terrible for our eco-conscious society.😅
It was much better when vaping required some skill to make coils or even put in a pod on a device, now there’s no barrier to entry.

People alwasy talk about the "negative health effects of vaping", please tell me what they are? the only real issue that has ever been brought up was the popcorn lung issues with vapes that use Vitamin E acetate, which nowadays are only some black market vapes, and THC vapes.
As far as I'm aware, no one has died or gotten cancer from a normal, good quality nic vapes (even the cheap dispoables you find now at vape shops)

I understand vaping is bad and addictive, especially for teens. But I feel like there should be more of an honest conversation with teens regarding nicotine abuse. Because in case you weren’t aware, typically when you tell a teen not to do something, they’re gonna do it. and just because they made one thing illegal doesn’t mean teens are not gonna move on to the other legal thing. The older teens in high school are going to be adults in a few years. The least we can do in the situation is just talk to them. Instead of the pearl clenching, pointing the finger at somebody else maneuver. And sometimes kids are just dumb as hell maybe parents should be on top of that. Idk
