In Pull 3 you passed a North tile left and then another North tile to the second left. I am always too concerned to pass the same tile twice. Your thoughts please.
th-cam.com/video/jUtRNXAXsIA/w-d-xo.html Remembering what was given away in the first left while deciding which tiles to give away in the second left is a good thing. It's best to mitigate the risk in both passes but the first priority is to focus on hand development. Then, pass as defensively as possible with the remaining tiles. Since there was potential for like numbers with 8s I opted to keep the pair of 8 bams intact and pass the North with 4 crak and 7 dot.
This is the most helpful kind of video for a beginner like me! Thank you!!
Have a friend trying to learn and shared with her. Picking a hand is the hardest thing for beginners. Thanks!!
LOVE "Let's see if we can benefit from the generosity of other players" during the Charleston. Good one, Michele. 😀
What do you mean by “joker bait”?
Pull 3 - I saw lots of evens. why didn't you pick an even hand? Thanks!

Pull 3: I would have kept the South and aimed for NNN SSS 7 dots and 8 craks
