    Bought one recently for my birthday, only gripe I have is the 2023 besides the PL, other than that I really like it a lot. After I oiled the internals and greased the slide, it racks like butter, really well machined pistol.

    I'm glad you described the "beavertail" as not tacticool. That feature makes it look as though muzzle flip may be an issue. I hope the metal frame and beefy spring mitigate what looks like a flippy firearm. Interesting review as always, can't wait for the what's for dinner with this; I'm sure that I will learn why you desired this particular gun.

    • @GBGuns

      During the Shooting Impressions video (because we film from the very first shot with a gun) I learned to adapt my grip to counter some of that flip.

    Excellent explanation on this firearm. Thanks for sharing. I love the look and all metal frame, but they are asking way too much money for 9mm combat pistol. I thought about grabbing one but for $1000 I'd rather invest that kind of money into Sig MCX, Spear or aimpoint, trijicon or thermal sight.

    12:00 very good, the decocker doesn't leave the hammer against small parts (like on my taurus), after decocking the hammer rests against the slide. VIS 35 also have an interesting decocker. Most designers just ignore lessons from the past.

  • @zaitcev0
    @zaitcev0 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Radom made pistols in the past that basically copied the fire control from an early Beretta 92 verbatim. With Vis.100 they build upon that heritage and make it more of their own with the frame-mounted decocker. Personally I'm fully onboard with this, but the space used by the DA/SA mechanism is largely what accounts for the slide sitting so tall above the grip, as well as the CZ-82 style of the trigger guard (or should I say Gen3 Smith style perhaps).

    Born and raised in Poland. Radom, the town it's made in, is subject of several jokes (the most boring town in the country). That being said, I'd love to have it in my collection. I'm not one to generally get too worked up about bore axis height, but I'm thinking about how high the red dot would be perched above my hand. Jumping back & forth between this and something like a Steyr would pose quite the training challenge.
