Timo Boll was playing in the 1. Bundesliga at his age. Hard to imagine, because Noah is already playing at such a high level. Miikka improved a lot over the last years actually. He is just so secure when counterspinning that Noah loses his patience during those rallies. Impressive!
Maybe, ppl should stop comparing young talents to the golden generation Timo, Dima etc….especially to Timo, wouldn’t be fair to them. Some guys develop later (plus won’t reach Timo‘s MAX😉)
@@marchammer1364 You‘re right, sometimes people reach their peak later like Zhang Jike or Patrick Franziska. I wish Noah all the best for the future! To be fair, the level today is insanely high as well, so you can‘t exactly compare the two eras.
@@lgeigeryou cannot compare tbe eras but you can surely compare the games and Noah is way below Timo at same age.
I mean come on you cant name them in one sentence. He is a good 15 yo player and Timo is one of the best players ever. Sure a 15 yo Timo would beat Miikka but we are talking about a world elite class player.
@@BvBCrafty he is not even that good and if he is the best 15 in Germany it simply means this german generation is not promising...
love how the kid looks at his paddle to blame it instead of his own movement for missing points. we all have done that at one point lmao
Just to be clear. Atleast myself. I look at my paddle to see where I hit the ball so I know where I hit it so I know what misstake I made.
It looked like at about 1:10 that one of the rubber sheets came halfway (or more) off the paddle. Aside from that, I do also like to look at my paddle to find out where on the face I hit it
Or to find out whether it was even my mistake since sometimes after the ball slipped there's simply a slightly wet circly on my rubber so I know I did the right movement, but the ball slipped due to humidity
come on there was something wrong with the racket those 2 point in which he looked at it, probably sweat on the racket which made it slip
Kid or not kid WE all do that!!
This really puts Félix Lebrun's game into perspective. He's the champion of Europe and is barely 2 years older than this kid here.
Since when Félix Lebrun is champion of Europe ? He won the European games, which is different.
@@olissime01Current Felix Lebrun kills any European player and would only lose to Chinese elite
@@velyth9979 didn't he lose his last two matches against Dang Qui?
@@lll-yq4hu that's correct.
@@olissime01 Technically you are correct but you can argue that currently he's the strongest non Asian player out there, the only other two non Asian players ranked above him are Dima and Hugo, both of whom just lost to him at the WTT Contender.
BTW, I'm a big fan of both Dima and Félix. That final was like torture for me 🤣😅.
I like how the kid discovered a counter to mika’s troublesome side spin receive in 6:55 and 7:00 but alas the game was nearly over and it was too late to recover. Well played by both 👏
Thanks for showing the whole match and not making weird cuts
Miikka kinda threw first set, but came back! Amazing match guys
Hersel’s ,,WAAASS!?!?” at 2:24 is so funny 😂
pongfinity plus is an underrated Channel
Masterclass footwork from Miikka
I haven’t seen Miikka play so good as in this match before. Very good level.
When Miikka's backhand is getting onto the table, he's easily a top 3 player in Finland. He has a giant swing that is very hit-or-miss, and his backhand flick is somewhat weak, especially against more varied spin, but he played very well this game and took great advantage of the fact that his backhand was on fire. In addition, his counter-looping game has improved significantly, and I feel this portion of his game is his greatest strength, possibly the best in Finland all things considered. Perhaps his footwork is not amazing, but he's such a fast player that it doesn't matter, and he can pivot into a forehand very easily, at least at this level. Miikka is looking so strong and shows no signs of slowing down, keep it up, we're all rooting for you!
Maby sensei transferred some of his backhand knowledge 😂
Some really nice shots there. Cool vid to watch.
Well played miikka that backhand flick working a treat
Noah has big potential. Let’s see how this march will end in 3 years 😉
This is such good content holy
Awesome video 👏👏👏
i think Noah got flustered, or gave up, or got tired as the match progressed. maybe his mentality is not quite there, but he performed worse after every set. Probably because he's not as experienced? idk. he's still a damn good player and would beat me 10-0 lol. well played to both players
Is that like chess where you resign before they take your king? Never give them the satisfaction of that last point😅
love the chopblock at 1:29!
Skillful use of long serves by Mikka, the kid was stunned
🏓 Tough match! It's clear that the young German player has immense talent, but this game highlighted how crucial emotional control is in table tennis. Despite the loss, there's so much potential there. Table tennis is as much a psychological battle as it is a physical one. Looking forward to seeing how this talented teenager grows and learns from this experience. Great effort and a great learning opportunity! #TableTennisJourney #MentalGame #KeepGrowing 🌟
Looks like the type of guy who gets easily mad and tries to find excuses. Luckily he's still young and can fix those bad habits
if they arent already doing that i wish they filmed all the matches they play and uploade them id definitely watch it
The kid would literally die against otto
Well played Mikka you're so good!
To me the main difference between the two players was the mentality. Staying focused through close and descicive rallies demands a strong psyche which usally comes with experience...
My thoughts exactly - as soon as he eliminates a bit of the frustration and self-doubt with good coaching he will progress exponentially.
Impressive to see!!
That 15 year old guy’s attitude is the same as how I always play friendly with my friends
The kid has some attitude, always looking at his paddle and letting his emotion get the better of him. Lots of talent though.
Too much praise. A bit spoiled. You see it often.
Love the unconventional techniques and creativity!
Also: is that Tim counting?
Hätte nie gedacht das mal ein Mitglied von Pongfinity in meinem Landkreis spielt. Mal den Rolf-Werner fragen was das kostet😂
i would like to know what material mikka is playing. it looks like it has a lot of power and spin but still works really well when trying to controll defensively. anyone knows? and am i right or is it just the amazing skill of Mikka i am seeing?
Really good play from Miikka
dear mikka, whats ur use rubber in racket? thank u 🤙
Very interesting game!
Lateral lift serve on backhand/elbow diff
Ficou nervoso no jogo inteiro e não soube controlar as emoções, mais está tudo bem, ele tem bom movimento, se praticar chega mais longe ainda
I like how Miikka beat best 15-years-old easily
Does Miikka understand a bit of german? :)
He played really well and Noah has really good technique but not the mindset and tactical capabilities to break through Miikkas barrage of topspins.
Gut gemacht Miikka!
Now, we want Miikka Vs. Danilo Faso from Italy!!!
I wonder if the kid cracked under pressure or if Miikka saw his weakness, I can't tell from watching this
the kid was having a lot of difficulty with spinny serves aimed deep at his backhand side, and although i wasn't counting, miikka was probably able to secure at least 10 points off that through the entire game
and every time he needed safe point, he did that serve. Very well noticed!@@luminescentowl
Noah just needs to keep his emotions under control
Noah is a crazy player
Lol the kid is not used to losing
He behaves poorly. Like an eight year old spoilt brat.
He's 15... and if you look at the end you can see he accepted his defeat when he shook Miikka's hand.
I don't get why you say that. I'm pretty sure no competitor likes losing, as a 15 years old probably playing with adults, he is definitely losing a lot of matches.
when you said, i expected some bad reactions at the end. Something like throwing his racket... but nothing, he handled that loss very professional 🤷♂️
Great match.
Pongfinity x TTD?
« It’s the racket who make me miss the point ! »
Losing a set doesn't matter if you know how to make a comeback.
That's what Miikka displayed us ❤❤.
Love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳.
dude there is some serious german "yes" in the background "JAAAAAAAAAAA"
Nice play Mikka
Well played Mikka
The boy needs to improve massivly on his mental. You just saw him break in the 2nd set, from there on he was play way below his normal level. Nevertheless good work Miikka !
The boy needs to improve, period.
It sounds like the massive audience (5 people) have been added later to the video :D
Great job Miikka
Have you ever played against Adan bobrow? Could be a good video idea :) Good match
Challenge:try some cricket trick shots.🎉
Lets go vs best 16 years old in france)
my biggest flex is that i won against the 15 year old
is mikka not using hurricane 3 on forehand anymore? (because he plays instead of black side with red side on forehand)
How many people want team pongfinity to perform in next wttc
bro no offence but they would be destroyed
Nah they wouldn't even make it close to that
How effective was that reverse serve …
How mach TTR?
Only regionalliga at his age? Not tryna hate or smth, I myself only play at bezirksklasse level (im 14 and it's 5 leagues below regionalliga), but for example some of the chinese or japanese talents already play top 100 level at 14 years of age, so it really is astonishing to see how great the difference is between them and the talents from europe. Of course, in asian countries, the children train way more and are disciplined more by their parents, but the difference is still unbelievable.
Omg, Pongfinity in Germany? Which city??
Despite Mikka has about 28, he showed a quicker and more moveable game. But the boy’s game for me are quite good
Welcome to germany 🥰
5:14 look the table
6:52 lmaoo i would do the same
oleksandr kocherha, please duel him, bros 13 and won U19 doubles in our district he’s way too good
Pongfinity destroying kids now?
no spoilers in comments
The kid should get some coaching on how to control his emotions, this is not his fault but the elders around him should help build his mental game .
Much more enjoyable than wtt
despite his talent, the young man has an absolutely stinking attitude
Try meeting swedens best 15 yr olds. I think it'll be a difference.
wow that kid is going places
is he though? He would need to jump one league each year from now on for the next 4 years if he wants to even compete internationally
that 360 at 0:48 was personal😂
Kid needs to learn playing and loosing against a player like Miikka isnt only a loss, its valuable learning time.
Maybe this was not his best match but I was not too impressed by the kid. Of course, he's an impressive at the age of 15, but are we talking Timo Boll impressive? I doubt it, I just did not see - mentally and technically - the absolute genius that you have to be to go all the way. Being no 1 at 15 is nice but try to go back and see how many no. 1 at 15 became really professional table tennis players of the highest caliber. Maybe this kind will prove me wrong in 3 -4 years time, but right now..not that impressed. Well done Miikka though--after the first set collapse on his backhand side, he put three great sets together.
I heard Nakayama-kinnikunn's scream
experience...
How is 2:43 point for Noah? Wasn't it out?
6:50 Donkey Where?!?!?!?
The german was absolutely astonished every timed he missed! Love to see it lol.
The best 15 year old is Johann Magnus Mahl
Please explain your belief. Why has Noah Hersel won the German under 15 Championchip and not Johann? Johann lost against Matej Haspel in the half final. When he would be the best player, he would also be the best in the wttv-ranking, but he isn't. Johann is a good player, but actually he isn't better than Noah. Sorry, but i can't follow your meaning.
8:4 Regio unten sagt schon viel
This game was played on October 30st 2022... Why are you uploading it a year later???
Aaaah....now i can understand the heading of this video. I was a little bit confused about it. Thank's for the note.
Kid is lamenting after each point. That's aggravating to watch. I wonder how he was able to come back in set 1.
Gratz mikka. You beat a 15yo
Come on Guys. Leave the Kid Alone. He is 15. I showed more Attitude when i didnt get the Dinner that i asked my mum for when i was His age. Great Game.
beautiful
I wonder what happened if Mikka challenges Felix or Alexis Lebrun 😂
They'd wipe the floor with him 🤷♂️ without a doubt
In which team youre playing Miikka?
Its the german team TTV Stadtallendorf
nice
Pour les français, ça joue combien ? 200/300?
😂
try against swedens best 15 yr old!
I think ,when mikka is have 4 point lead he's in overconfidence and showoff ,this is a reason why mikka was looses first set...👍🏻🤧😂😂
they should stop applauding.
0:15 can anyone please tell me why was this point given to mikka?
Because it went past the edge of the table and Mikka tapped it up after it fell below the top surface?
Because Noah hit the ball way over the table when trying to return it. What made you think Noah won the point?
play with Thiago Abiodun pls is good plauer and have 15 yo
