Just wanted to give you a heads up on framing in your thermostat. It may not be able to read correctly unless you drill holes in the sides, top, and bottom of your box. I know ours reads the temp of our home through the vents directly in the thermostat. Possibly yours is different though. Just wanted to let you know. It is definitely a great idea if it allows it to work correctly.
